I ask question " Mr. Walker are the molecular bonds moving around the axis or horizontally and vertically?" Answer "Yea" and proceeds to talk about something else

Tbh his class gave me nightmares and I hated it immensely, but it was an experience I suppose. If you use outside sources, like tutors, youtube videos, and online lessons, you can make it. He's so cute like a little old grandpa, but teaching is not his strong suit. I think it's time to retire...

Really nice and funny guy, but doesn't explain stuff too well. Study groups are a NECESSITY if you plan on going AP. If a majority of students don't get something, he'll usually blame the students for taking too many notes (like someone below said). The tests are extremely fair if you study enough. In my experience, you either get a 100 or a 80. Really depends on you.

Though his class can be tough, it's not impossible. It just takes hard work. He's fair as most of his tests have bonus point opportunities. Form study groups and go to support all the time because he teaches more than you learn in class at support.

1st semester is easy because the concepts are easy so you don't need him to teach you. 2nd semester concepts are difficult, he is absolutely USELESS. For some reason, he is incapable of answering questions or teaching the material in an understandable way. If you ask for help, he'll babble some giberish unrelated and act like he's done you a favor. Avoid this class at all costs. He is unorganized and blames the students for not understanding because they were "too busy taking notes."

Five years after passing Walker's AP Chemistry class, he still stands out as the single most inconsiderate and unreasonable teacher/professor I've ever had. He has a huge ego and zero patience for his students. His tests are unreasonably difficult - always containing questions not covered in lecture - and are written in his messy handwriting, typically leaving less than enough space to provide a clearly written answer.
Also, he regularly brings god into the public school classroom. Enough said.

loved him probably my favorite teacher even though i failed the class he made it fun to fail and he is very knowledgeable in his field. the only reason i stayed in his class was for his experiments and Walker's Wild West (awesome go if you can) i love his sense of humor not his tests. if you dont put in the work you will not pass (me) he really does care he will help you if you show the effort to get help he is always at support its your fault if you do not go and also DO STUDY GROUPS

Not very good prep for the AP test. Tries to give problems without teaching how to solve them first, wastes time in class with life stories. Should retire soon, he's ready. Feel as if he's just messing with kids, not teaching AP material.

He literally doesn't teach. He just talks. He doesn't explain ANYTHING and unless you're naturally good at math, it is impossible to learn anything from him. Most frustrating and unfair class EVER.
