Mr. Akamichi is very helpful to students and he influences a lot of the students. He's very lenient on his grading policy; basically, if you're seen working on art in class, you get an A; else, a B.

one of the BEST art teachers in this area. maybe even all of norcal. He got me into all of the art schools I applied to because he really knows his stuff: probably because he is also really experienced! But anyways, if you want to go to art school or even go to ANY university with a portfolio program he is the man to go to!

Lee is my favorite public teacher in my entire life. I was first inspired to take his class in 1973 when he spoke at our Junior high. I finally got my class with Lee in 1978 and we have remained friends to this day. I always found him to be unique, challenging, inspiring, and interesting. He always cared and tried to see his students grow and evolve, not just in his class, but as human beings.

i dont like his new grading thing.. either an A or C..-_- i think just as long as you finish your projects than ur okay....

He's a nice teacher, but his new grading policy is unfair. Because the projector is often being used, or he's helping other students, I have to wait. In that spare time, i do homework. Unfortunately... he marks off points for that. >_> SOO just a tip: try to look busy when you're waiting in line for him. (:

He's really nice.. just don't be late to class too often, because your grades depend mostly on that. and don't spend too much time in class doing hw. he doesnt waste time on useless projects; everything is to prepare you for your college portfolio. great class!
