Seems like he knows what he is doing. However, he loves to pick favorites. He'll constantly praise the gifted few who are always doing fantastic, leaving the rest of the class in the dark. As long as the few who can make it through anything get high scores, those who need more help don't matter to him. Along with that, he gives incredibly difficult exams, some of which does not even remotely pertain to the lessons we had been covering in the weeks prior.
This is a continuation of my last post. The problems are then entirely impossible. Nothing even remotely close to what was on our homework or in our AP Prep Review Book. Usually the multiple choice is not too bad, that we can usually handle. The written response however... I know that there is certainly no better teacher for math at the highschool, but sometimes I wonder if it's worth the pain. I have heard that from his skills, the AP Test becomes super easy. Who knows, maybe it's worth it.
Mr Super is an excellent calculus teacher. Hands down the best math teacher I have had in years. It is the first time in highschool that I have fully understood everything that we have learned. It all makes perfect sense to me. However, he is a TERRIBLE test giver. I always feel super (hehe) confident the tests. I know all the rules, all the theorems, studied for hours. Then, we get the test and it is COMPLETELY different. What we learned has been put on steroids and is now (to be cont.)
Was very pleased that my son had Mr. Super for AP Calculus and Algebra 2. Mr. Super was helpful outside of class when extra assistance was needed. My son was able to do very well on the AP Exam!
He was the most helpful teacher I EVER had for math... He actually sat down with me on multiple occasions and helped me with things I had problems with... He was fantastic!
Good old Super. Well I had him for calc ap, so obviously his tests were hard. But he always helps u out if u need it, and he definitely helps prepare u for college and the ap test, and he is funny
very hard and a little annoying too. he has a sappy sense of humor and(very) hard tests, but is a great guy anyway
My son had him for Algebra 2. Lots of homework, very difficult tests. he should focus on teaching more.
He really is a great guy, but needs to focus more on what out homework will be that day, instead of the stuff we did yesterday. Literally, he goes over the homework we already did for most of the hour
Really weird, awkward. I didn't learn much during integrated II. I actually tried in the class, but didn't understand his style of teaching.
Mr. supers name should be changed to taubitz because mr taubitz is the super one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Super is Super!! I think he's a great teacher I like him a lot and I'm happy that I have him.
