Mrs. Herman is a very understanding and thoughtful teacher. I really respect teachers who are really able to communicate with their students who need clarifications and help. The atmosphere in her class at the beginning of the year could be a little intimidating at first, but once you get to know her, you will be very comfortable in class. She is the type of teacher that knows the struggles and feelings that a high school student experiences, so she makes the class appropriate for you.

One of the best English teachers on campus. Very easy and clear. As long as you do your work and follow directions, you get an A. EEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ

I did not really think much of her when I had her as a teacher. But, now, I realize how much she has taught me and how helpful her class is..Her debates are really amazing and teach a lot..Her class helped me get through AP Literature smoothly as her stingy MLA policies are really applicable to Hoague's class

Not even a very hard class. She does not read the homework, so that means if you do your work, you'll get a 100% regardless of what you write. She makes her instructions very clear so just follow them...Her speeches and debates are helpful as it is applied to life. She likes to laugh and joke a lot but sometimes she can be picky and >:| if you don't be quiet when she asks. Overall, Herman taught English really well and is FAR BETTER THAN MR SMITH.

Pretty much the worst teacher i had during my freshman year. I was in her Teen Living class and i learned absolutely nothing. She can't teach and she doesn't know how to handle kids.

If you are reasonably intelligent you will love her class. If you are a slacker (or not so smart) you will struggle. Lots of whiney little babies out there. GOOD LUCK in college.

She is actually not as bad as many people have said. You just have to pay attention and show some effort in her class. It's not hard to pass her class as long as you do work

Wow, so many haters out there! Excuse Mrs. Herman for demanding that you actually READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS for once in your lives, AND that she (gasp) holds you ACCOUNTABLE for unacceptable work. Th
