I've had Dr. Schneider for two years of history, and she has been a wonderful teacher over the course of that time. While her classes can be hard content-wise it usually won't show up in your grade, and if you put in effort you will do well on the AP test. She can sometimes be a little confusing, but if you take the time she is happy to explain anything to you and is always looking out for her students. She also has that perfect balance of nice grandma and focused teacher- you can't go wrong!
Shes really not that hard. You just gotta do the work and study and it pays off in class. The one problem is she's not afraid to make you redo a project if she doesn't describe it well enough to you in the first place. Other than that she is truly immersed in the subject and is excited to tell you anything about history.
She did not rely on her personality to convey skill or information, yet those who wanted to learn from her, could. I had her in AP Euro in 1997 and still use the note-taking skills she taught. AND I still dream of DBQ's. Treat her as the professor she is, and all will be well.
Doc. Schneids is a great teacher. I learned so much in that class and although she made me cry because I failed my practice CAPT, she was my favorite teacher of the year. She can be strict but only if
Very disorganized and isn't particularly consistant with assignments but definately knows her stuff and will get you a 5 on the AP test without question. However you won't get a grade that reflects it
Schneids is INCREDIBLY disorganized, but doesn't penalize you for her own mistakes. She curves tests, and you have a guaranteed 5 on the AP Test if you stick it through- but you HAVE to trust her.
Schneider is a great teacher and if you work hard you will definitely got a 5, she knows everything there is to know about APs
AP World II- hard grader, not always clear expectations. Acts nice while telling you you'll get a D. However, you'll get a 5 on the AP test if you listen to her, and you'll remember stuff she teaches.
I LOVED AP World II with her. Lots of projects which are so much fun & I did really well in her class. It was really interactive. She's kind of annoying & weird though.
Now that I'm an alumni and a History Major, I've found that although the class was stressfull, it prepared me for college essay writing better than any other New Canaan class has.
Lenore's class was one of the hardest i ever took. She's a nice woman, my entire class loved her but i didn't, and she definatly didn't like me. unfair grader, and plays favorites
In all fairness, she really is not that hard. She is pretty nice but I don't think im learning as much as when I had Webb in AP world II.
Lenore is one of the best @ NCHS. She is so smart, Euro was my favorite class sr.yr, and the one i got the most out of. She's kind, sweet, and loves her student
I got 94's every quarter in her class but somehow managed to get 70's on her tests, and do horribly on the AP exam...she gives us easy work and we learn nothing
Lenore is a terrible teacher. She cannot articulate what she wants us to do, and then is angry when we can't psychicly understand her.
She doesn't get the fact that we have other classes... she's a sweet lady, but I don't feel prepared for the APWH test... which is 2 days after the final!
I am studying for her midterm now and I am really stressed but I will definetly do well on the exam so in the end it will all be worth it.
Confusing. Hard tests. She is intelligent, and I probably will get a good AP test score, but is it worth it? The other class is easier.
All I have to say is 80 multiple choice and 3 essays on one test, just wow- it really sucks
I love Dr. Schnei, she's challenging but super smart and helpful
her tests may be a little long, but i enjoyed the class and found her to be a genuinely nice person
Dr. Schneider is the BEST! Definately a nice person.
How can you not like lenore? Shes one of the best teachers NCHS has!!
Lenore...the one teacher I hate with a firey passion, yet love so much.
