Mrs. Adler is the most lenient biology teacher I've had. He is not very good at teaching, but is extremely lenient on grading. Thus, if you are good at grasping new concepts, or you read the "biopreview" worksheets she hands out, you will have a very easy class. She would sometimes even compromise with the class to delay due dates, knowing that everyone is a procrastinator.
Not qualified and obviously spends most of her time sitting around. Mooches off MCPS and our taxes with the paycheck she doesn't deserve.
I had her for research and design and I'm also a science intern. Mrs. Adler is nice, but doesn't seem to do much. If you're looking for help finding internship sites, she doesn't do much besides look over your resume. But she keeps time sheets and internship assignments updated regularly, and her class is extremely easy.
She is very helpful, and a great teacher. Her class is something that I looked forward to everyday, and I can truly say that I actually LEARNED in this class. I did not do things just for the grade, but did them because of the encouragement an enrich
I love Ms. Adler! I only know her as the Science Internship Coordinator, but she's really nice and laid back (at CARB at least :P).
i don't think she really likes teaching anymore. she's burnt out, and her r&d class is a real drag, cuz she just gives us busy work while she does stuff at her computer. she's always at her computer
she really doesn't seem to care anymore. we hardly EVER do real labs, its just looking at other experiments and talking about experiments.
The most amazing, intelligent, caring, and productive teacher I have ever had. She truly cares about biology and makes her students enthusiastic about the subject. She is very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge. She provides impeccable mentorship to students, and is everything one would want in a teacher. She is also extremely fair, impartial, and non-judgmental about each and every student...she does not play favorites, and caters to each student's learning style without complaint.
Awesome teacher! Makes Bio so much fun and she takes you to IHOP after the senior year if you take it during junior year. She's really helpful if you wanna get an internship too, so it benefits you to get to know her.
AP Bio is the best class ever esp. with Mrs. Adler!!!
Acts like she doesn't want to teach anymore. Too many simulated labs - why can't we do the real thing like the other class? Her "lectures" ramble and she tries to impress us with unrelated topics that don't help at all. I've had to learn mostly from the book or from notes from the other teacher.
Teaches with real soul, teaches biology with the right emphasis. But at times was unclear and repetitive; had a hard time maintaining order.
Love her!I am a premed/bio major who did ok in Ms. Adler's class but BELIEVE ME...if you study and do well in her class you are set for college science classes.
At first, I didn't like Ms.Adler too much, but she certainly has changed my opinion of her. Awesome teacher, AP was easy because of her! THANKS!
i don't really like adler because she goes off talking about her life & other things unrelated to science. not much notes, unclear.
Mrs. Adler is SO NICE. She always helps us on tests and pushes back dates if we want. But we still all learn a lot. I feel prepared for the ap test in May.
