Very strict about arbitrary rules. Don't even try to have a water bottle unless you're in debate. Lots of unnecessary work, aka word clues. That class was the bane of sophomore year. Nice sometimes...

She really loves the debate kids in her lang arts class. Even if you are a non-debater, just show that you are really trying and she'll be kind to you and help you.

Ms Watkins is one of the best teachers Ive ever had. Even though she might be tough, she encourages and rewards critical thinking, and outside of class she is so nice and laid back

I had her for LA the year before I started debate, and never found her to play favorites. She was extremely demanding, but shouldn't a teacher be?
