She needs to retire. She teaches us in Spanish so we really have no idea what she is saying. Also, we don't get notes, she has us go around the room and take turns reading from the textbook (which is in spanish) and when we ask her questions she rarely gives a straight answer.
Difficult at first, but easier as you get used to her. Definently get on her good side by being active in class and NEVER chewing gum
She goes too fast on the material, but the quizzes aren't that hard, and she does a good job explaining stories. she's just kinda mean.
She's really a fun teacher. I know a lot of what we learn in that class is tough, but it really helps prepare you for AP Spanish. She's a great person if you get to know her
I love Ms. Dorin. She knows her stuff and has high expectations for her students. I find her class fun.
i learned sooooo much from her but she is the hardest teacher in moco for spanish. its so worth it. her students are the ones who succeed in AP spanish. im in that now, and im flying right through it! shes sooo funny too! you have to get on her good side! and dont talk back to her! shes awesome! :)
hahaha she answers her phone in the middle of class.. shes an ok person and an ok teacher as long as ur willing to teach urself.. haha dorin
She is a nice teacher overall, but she does focus too much on grammar.
Very tough. You'll be doing assignment after assignment like never before. It's not that Mrs. Dorin isn't good as much as Spanish 3 doesn't prepare you.
AHH!!! she gives out random projects and expects them to be done in a day... IMPOSSIBLE!! and when you ask her about them... she starts yelling at you!!
Sra. Dorin is pretty cool.I liked her even though she's a horrible teacher, but she's very lenient with the grades. There are favorites, but an A is very possible
She is an amazing at spanish but this could be the hardest teacher you have ever had.
Sra. Dorin is an awesome spanish teacher. Noone can teach like a native. She actually cares about her students, and I am actually LEARNING spanish. GO SRA DORIN
Knows the language and the material, but has trouble communicating lessons to the students. She's great in reading comp. but almost everyone fails grammar tests
shes okay, she knows a lot, i am good at spanish so its not too bad of a class. I agree if she likes you the class is an easy A.
you can pretty much get away with ALOT in this class. We read the grammar book in her class and she explains everything in Spanish so no one understands.
if you get on her good side, it's not a problem to do well in her class...just kiss up and she will give you an A
definitely knowledgeable in the spanish language, but could use some teaching 101
she is a great teacher, don't be intimidated b/c she is a native. she does set the standards a little high, but overall students are just too scared to learn
She doesnt teach. All she does is sit there, go over the most importanat and hard grammar points in 2 seconds, then asks if there are any questions. Not helpful
she may be hard but she knows what she's talking about
this lady is obviously greatly educated in the spanish language but defintly has standards too high for ppl not knowing spanish as the mother tongue
Very easy teacher. Asks very specific questions everyday about the reading material presented.
A pretty good teacher who knows what immersion is all about, although my friends and I still beleive she summons evil demons from her vortex of doom occasionall
definately the worst teacher at Churchill, should be fired.
Ms. Dorin ruined the spanish language for me. She is not a teacher but an overpriveleged housewife (her husband is a rich doctor) looking to fill her time.
