i have to admit i didn’t like mr. silver at first, but he soon became my favorite teacher. just get him to smile, which isn’t easy, and you will be on his good side forever. mr. silver keeps you organized, stays afterschool to help whenever you want (if you ask) and he definitely knows his subject. seriously, ask him anything about economics, stock market, whatevs, he knows it. overall, mr. silver's a good teacher because he explains things in a simple way that makes it easy to understand.

One of the most knowledgeable teachers I have ever had. He’s going to be teaching AP Econ next year, so I highly recommend taking that with Mr. Silver. Probably will do the guy some good teaching all AP students… honestly, half the students in my class were too dense to understand most of his jokes.

I took this guy for Econ 10 years ago (literally). One of the funniest people on earth if you pay attention to what he says and can appreciate sarcasm. His humor is pretty well disguised by his monotone delivery so you have to be listening to get it. Used helpful real-world examples to illustrate concepts. Hope to run into him again someday.

One of the strangest people i have ever met in my life. He has a very dry sense of humor and not once has ever laughed at his own joke or smiled. Talks to himself sometimes and does very odd things at times. He is very knowledgable about economics and helps you whenever you need it. He did an excellent job preparing my class for the EOCT as only one student got below a B. I reccomend Silver to anyone who wants a good understanding about economics.
