This class has been a thoroughly great experience. It was the perfect combination of fun, difficult, and easy. She doesn't just teach us English, she teaches us how to present ourselves and how to put together great college applications.

So... taking this class has been the worst experience of my life... but quite easily also the best. Basically - MASSIVE workload - most likely unlike any class you've ever taken before. However, despite the massive amount of work, we develop ourselves as people unlike in any other class I have - whether it's through the various debates we hold or the Huck Finn trial. I feel like I am in a family more in this class than any other. Take it if you get the chance. :)

Ms. Storey's class was quite an experience. Yes, she expected a lot from us as students. Nonetheless, I learned a tremendous amount about writing because of her. I was also able to improve my presentation skills! She does give break periods between the heavy workload of assignments, and the class is quite interesting. She does a great job of preparing students for the SATs and college-level work, too. She may be critical, but she's also pretty friendly. Outstanding teacher, overall.

She's one of those teachers who works you to the bone and only when it's all over do you realize how great she actually was. I'd often pull all-nighters due to her mammoth workload. Part of our final was assuming a role of a literary character and discussing a current hot-button topic over a mock-dinner... seriously. I despised her for putting me through hell but all the tests and work led to me getting a 5 on the AP test and a high SAT reading and writing score, making all this worth it.

Her class truly exemplifies an AP course, in terms of her immense workload at times and the extent to which she engages you in speaking skills, writing skills, analytical skills, etc.
As a person, she is quite individualistic. But does that matter? She still teaches.

Ms. Storey's class was actually pretty easy. To be completely honest, although we ended up getting a better understanding and comprehension of important novels and literature, I feel like her class was easier than the English 11 Honors classes. When there are assignments, they can be very difficult, but if you put a lot of time and effort into them, you'll succeed! (There's a lot of stuff at the start of the year, but other than that, not much work). Interesting teacher, pretty nice! :)

She is not a BAD teacher, but her AP class has a difficulty curve like a skyscraper, and she forces her A/B classes to turn in homework the same day she assigns it. She's definately pissed me off.
