- Doesn't start preparing for the AP exam until a month or so prior to the testing date. Essays are not that hard, just need common sense. If you don't slack off, it is easy to get an A and at least a 4 on the AP.

- The most biased teacher I've ever had. She's fun to talk to&a very interesting woman, but I'm in AP to LEARN. I've learned nothing. I've won awards for my writing outside of school, yet she still gives me Cs on my essays because they don't suit her taste as a reader. Teachers should grade based on students' competence, not whether certain topics suit their interests. She never comments on anything (C-D for no reason?), takes months to post grades, &never passed a single assignment back all year.

shes a very nice teacher, once you figure out the way she likes the essays structured and the pet peeves she has in essays you are bound to do good. Just always make sure to go prepared to the quizzes and do ur hw!! Shes a hard grader on that(permalink) (report)

Yeah liked her at first but now I REALLY dont. She gives me D's on my essays because she doesnt like my topic. Effing ridiculous. All we do is creative writing and how is that going to prepare us for the AP test? oh wait, IT ISNT.(permalink) (report)

I like her more as a person than as a teacher. She is jolly and can be funny too. However, as a teacher, she is slightly biased and tends to favor her students.(permalink) (report)
