I extremely recommend my son to take chamber next year as I feel that this teacher developed a spirit of care and helpfullness, and my son finds happiness in choir. She truly helps my son and truly teaches my son. No matter what, I recommend my son to have her class again as my son has the ability to cooperate, to sing well, to learn well, to show his talent, and the mostly touching thing is that he respects his teachers and help his teachers.

I don't know why so many people don't like her, she is my favorite teacher and I truly love her as a teacher. I am from China and I had been in Choir for 10 over years since China. This is my first year choir here in America, of course I am in Mustang Singer first, I am planning to join chamber which people say that it is a small chance but small chance is not zero chance. I can try other groups too. No matter what I am taking her class next year. Just treat her extremely nice like what I do.

She definitely does favoritism. She expects students to know everything even though it's her fault for not properly teaching notes correctly the first time going over the music sheets. When she's moody she will definitely say inappropriate things that a teacher should never say to a student. She had the nerve to let me know she would warn Mt SAC's choir teacher about me to not let me join. Totally inappropriate to say to a teenager. I didn't want to join anyway because you made choir not fun.

she knows alot about music and can teach you anything. she will stay after school to help you if you need it. she helped me study for my college auditions for my ba in music. she can get upset, and she hates talking or being interrupted. usually she chooses good songs for her choirs to sing. her class is for people who care about music, not people who want an easy a. she cares enough to choreography everything, so be prepared to dance alot.

She's pretty nice, if you're on her good side. If you don't do what she wants, she'll get mad. I'm in Women's and this year was really fun. Pretty much drama free, well at least the drama wasn't so out there that everyone knew about it. Choir was sometimes the highlight of my day, but not really because of Mrs. Lopez. She always likes to know what's going on in her choir. If there's a joke and everyone starts laughing, she will want to know. Good person overall.

yeah, lopez is alright. she's funky, and you get used to her but her class was a blast. (music appr.) actually it was kinda boring. i don't know, but she's ok. she's pretty nice if she likes you, and she like almost everyone... i think.

I guess she's alright as a teacher, but she gets all moody and students tend to dislike her.

she needs to explain more things. she needs to make kids work on the area they had trouble with in the song. she needs to do that in order not to scare her kids into being scared of her.

It is true that she is moody. She really favors specific students. Just do what she tells you to do and you'll do fine!

She has helped me a lot. But this kind of program is all about favoritism. I don't blame her for her mood swings. I'd be driven mad by now if I had to teach.
