First off, difficulty should not lower a rating. These courses were of a college rigor, and I appreciated that. Ms. Meyer was me teacher about 15 years ago. The things she taught me about the global politics, anthropology, geography and writing, I still use today. I still hear news stories on the radio and immediately recall facts and have a historical context to place the story. She helped to make my high school self a more worldly person. Thank you Lisa, I hope you've been well.
I had her for two classes - one being AP World. Took the time to help me when I didn't understand and needed extra help. She really wants her students to understand. Dedicated to helping.
i like how she teaches. i am actually getting a good grade in history for once because of her.
umm. I do believe her name is spelled LEsa. Not Lisa.
I probably have learned the most from her out of any teacher..
The class was good, but i enjoy history. She is a great person but sometimes tries too hard to make her opinion her own...
Although it seemed, at the time, that her AP World class was boring and I struggled, I now have fond memories of her talented and dedicated teaching, and credit her for my success.
She is okay, but by far the best history/social studies teacher i've ever had. She can be mean sometimes though.
Ms Meyer is a hard teacher, but she's fair and very dedicated to students. She prepares you really well for the AP test. I learned the most from her class
shows favoritism, tough grader on projects, doesnt explain the assignment for projects very well, and she thinks shes really cool
We did a lot of activities in class. She is actually a really good teacher. It may be hard, but it's worth it. 16 kids from AP World got 5's on the AP test!!!
Really knows how to prepare students for an AP World History test.
she is a very mean and unfair teacher. she has HUGE favorites.
She always made sure you understood even if it meant holding study groups on the weekends
