I had Mrs. King as a junior. Although there are a ton of negative reviews on here, she is truly an amazing teacher. You cannot expect a good grade without doing your homework or not being a good student in class; hence, if you are disrespectful, she will be too. She will give you respect if you do, and treat you the way you treat the class and her. I still come to her, to talk and will continue too. Forsure the best teacher I have and will have.

Ms. King is someone I respect solely as a teacher, not really as a person however. She is quite moody and condescending, but her job is not to be nice to you; her job is to teach you math. In that respect, I think she should be commended. She teaches the material very well, and her tests/quizzes aren't hard. She is much nicer when she is not teaching to be honest. All in all, If you pay attention in class, you will do well.

Mrs. King is an amazing teacher and person. Though she sometimes is in a very bad mood, she is still great. I can not STRESS ENOUGH how good of a first impression you need to make on her to do well and for her to like you.

When I first came into the class I thought that Mrs. King was very cold and unwelcoming, but I was proven wrong throughout the course. She is very compassionate and funny, she teaches the class well, and her tests are based on everything she says in class. All you have to do to ace her class is to listen carefully, be nice, and get help if you're unsure. Best math teacher I've had in my life.

I had her two years ago. I must say she is extremely unwelcoming, rude and cold. First day of school - other teachers were so warm and nice and she says in a rude, mono-tonal voice, "go sit down and fill out that sheet". She is EXTREMELY biased. If she doesn't like you, good luck getting an A. She is decently knowledgeable and her tests aren't extra hard or something. If you miss even one class for ANY reason, no matter how important or serious, be prepared to be shouted at. Honestly, good luck.

My son had her few years ago. Thought about her today and decided to talk. He had many outside activities that required him to travel/participate many hours in Boston. She is unwilling to understand each students' needs, not to mention how disrespectful she can be sometimes. Very disappointed to see that she is still teaching at LHS

At first I didn't like Ms. King because she was very moody at some times, but she actually is a good math teacher. As long as you understand the material, you will ace her tests. If you try hard, it will be easy to get straight A's. If you need help she is always willing to clarify any confusion. My only regret is that if I should have not slacked off towards the end of the year. Besides that, her class was a 4 out of 5.

Too much textbook use, she refuses to let kids think "outside the box" or find creative solutions to the problems. Has a "my way or the highway" approach to teaching and doesn't seem to like dealing with kids.

Relies way too much on the textbook, incredibly moody. Nice one day, death for the next few weeks. Overall terrible person. Doesn't deserve to be a teacher at Lexington High, let alone for 20 something years.

Couldn't do my homework for a legitimate reason, but she gave me a zero because it was my choice to perform in the concert. In reality, my music teacher told everyone it is required for everyone to perform and stay for the entire concert. This teacher is very rude and doesn't understand her students' pressure in school and is quick to make conclusions. Thanks for giving me the zero.

The only reason she liked me was bc I brought her baked goods in my Senior year. I was out for a week (Chillin) and she was really nice about it but yelled at other student who was out for 3 days bc he was sick. WIN. She really liked me but I secretly hated her =P She is just a really mean person I think.
