During my freshman year, she didn't want me to be quiet just because I am so serious in learning. If that's how she's going to feel, then she might as well have a business job.
She is helpful all right. She comes up with some good tools to help the students out. She just needs to workout more.
She knows what she is talking about, she just can't explain it very well. She tends to make the students feel stupid and afraid to ask questions
I had Mrs. Viavada in my freshman year of 96' and my senior year of 98'-99'. The woman definitely knows math inside and out. Strict, but a good teacher.
Strange lady, good teacher. If you need help she's there everyday afterschool. If your are judgemental you might not be able to tolerate her eccentricities.
She doesn't seem to know any of the material, and relies on the smarter kids to understand for the whole class. Learn math before you teach it!
