we would spend the entire class period meditating and then he wondered why no one knew any German. told me I should drop the class when I asked if I would ever learn any basic german and then made me f-drop it!

Huh. I don't know why he has such a bad rating. Brandl is a good teacher that makes learning languages a FUN EXPERIENCE. Yes, he challenges you but to the right extent.

Brandl's class is almost too easy. He blames us for our "poor work ethic" but he's really the cause. He complains to other classes about us (not cool). Awesome guy, bad teacher.

Brandl is a great guy, but his class; not so good. Brandl gives grades based on whether he likes you. He's cool, but you don't learn much in the class.
