I like learning french but madame and her rules ruin it for me. She's a good teacher and her class is an easy A, but her rules on dress code, water bottles, etc make her class an unsafe environment. Overall, she can be kind of weird and tell strange stories but everyone ends up laughing at her almost every day.
French is TOUGH. Joerger is a good teacher though, but that doesn't mean you don't have to work. Her expectations are you - be prepared to sacrifice time studying for constant tests, preparing for weekly in-class 'skits', and sacrificing lunches to go to immersion, in which you may only speak french for thirty-five minutes.
She's a strict disciplinarian, but if you stick to the rules and be respectful, she'll like you.
i honestly dont know why i stuck with her class for three miserable years, other than the fact that i have friends who are taking the subject as well. she talks down on you and makes you feel as if you were a little child. she says we cant have water bottles in her class at our desks because they are going to spill...even when they are tigtly sealed. if you dont talk in complete french you have to go jump in the hall next to the spanish room, bad teacher. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS
She is the best coach I have ever had the pleasure of working with. When she came to our school, we never thought we could go to state, but she showed us our true potential. After about one month of training, our basketball team was like a whole new group of kids. She taught us everything from dribbling the ball, to 3 pointer shots and now we're the state champs. VERY helpful, VERY polite, an absolute pleasure to shoot hoops with.
She is a great spanish teacher. I don't know why everyone is complaining. She has really helped me with understanding spanish culture and the language. Probably the first spanish teacher that didnt try and steal my bike too...
Nice Lady, Good Teacher, A Bit Picky,,,,Overall OK Teacher
She seems to care more about the dress code than she does our learning. She doesn't take enough time in class to make sure everyone understands what she is attempting to teach. She could be a good teacher if she really set her mind to it.
I can't wait for AP French next year, apparently she's nicer to her AP students (although she was kind to us in French III).
Our class used to be great, but now it seems like all she does is nags at us about everything. We're not fluent, we can't be perfect. Please understand that.
Not a good teacher. Does not teach at all. Writes people up for dress code when they're not breaking it. Only good thing: conducts class in French, which helps us with speaking.
She's awesome! She prepares you well for exams and quizzes. She may seem indifferent or rude, but that's completely not true!
really strict w/d codes which i do believe goes more 2 b nagging than care. But as of speaking only french, its good method &i know this bc i learned other languages b4 &this works
A teacher that talks herself into believing in what she says-for example, no one will pass the AP if she keeps saying we are so great without teaching us! Stop wasting time, teach
Come on, she's not THAT bad. If you do the work she's nice to you. A lot of people just slack off and that REALLY bugs her.
she picks favorites and explains nothing cuz she trys to explain in french and no one understands and wastes too much tim emaking peopl ejump on one foot n stuf
the worst teacher you'll ever have. plays favorites.
I really hope I don't fail AP french 4. She doesnt help us at all and she doesn't like me cuz I dont kiss up to her 24/7
The AP kids all failed... despite your thoughts on the fact that they are SO GREAT.
Boring, and hard to understand. I cant belive i am taking french
I have fun in this class. You just can't be late and/or violating dress code. I've already learnt a ton in this class. I love it.
omigosh PLEASE will someone else teach French 4 next year!! I'm seriously dying in her class cuz she snaps at me everytime I ask a simple question!
I think she could be a good teacher if she spent less time disciplining people (French 3) I like how she is always speaking french--no english lol
Joerger is decent but if you are in AP, DROP OUT, because you WILL fail. She doesnt prepare you for the AP. You are better off taking the class at Saddleback.
ummm, maybe you should give AP French some homework? Otherwise they won't PASS!!!
You won't get an A no matter what if she doesn't like you because most of the points are from participation :(
