Either you get it in her class or you don't. I'm the one who don't understand staff. Choose this class if you think you are smart.
Mrs. Stone is probably the most interesting teacher in this school. Even though her Harry Potter fetish may be annoying to some students who have not read the books, she still knows so much about chemistry and is able to teach all levels of students.
Bad teacher. Way too obsessed with Harry Potter. Should focus on the real world.
Mrs.Stone is by far the best science teacher I have ever had. She is absolutely amazing, and she does explain things well, including to her accel students (I am one).
BEST TEACHER THAT HAS EVER EXISTED
The class is difficult but she is extremely willing to help. I tried really hard and ended with a B. All the people complaining are the ones that didn't do well and didn't try. Even if you only give a little bit of effort you'll do fine.
Mrs. Stone has been out of the chemistry field for a long time, and been in teaching far too long. She has not adjusted to today's youth, and can't seem to teach most students. If you are good at chemistry, then you'll love her. If you're normal person, then you're doomed. She'll put up notes and talk about something different, and isn't very helpful. And heaven forbid if you have a learning or medical disability. She doesn't believe in giving a little for sick student.
From what I hear, she is good at the academic level, but not so clear at the Accel levels of chemistry. She is respectful as long as you respect her in return. She can be funny too sometimes.
There is a huge disconnect between the solid fountation of chemisty principles and the manner in which she articulates those principles in the classroom. In short she cannot adjust to students.
Very good teacher, helped me obtain a solid understanding of the foundations of chemistry. The class is a little bit too easy for my taste. She plays favorites a little bit, but it is tolerable. Also assigns far too much busywork - there is no need to balance hundreds of chemical equations to understand that the amount of stuff on one side has to equal the amount on the other side.
She will usually give you time in class so you can get your work done. If you pick things up fast you’ll be fine. Although if you don’t understand something, you should probably try to see if a peer can explain it. Don’t ask tons of questions. . . she can get very off topic (but then again that is pretty fun).
Cool teacher. She exlains things well. Her class is hard but if you understand what is going on it's not bad. She is funny and can be laid back at times.
i think only insanely smart kids will do well in this class... her tests seem impossible and her exam was a killer. shes nice though...
Great personality, makes class enjoyable, while you fail it. Hard but gives practice problems, would help if she had a practice test.
Mrs. Stone is awesome! Awesome, however, does not mean easy. She is definately a challenger. Work hard, or you might fail.
Can only teach to the top 1% who already understand teh material. DOnt bother ask questions, she can only explain things 1 way.
