Freshman year I took violin in Instrumental Music. Along with the 1/2x a month lessons, I had a private teacher, since I'd never played violin before. HUGE DIFFERENCE. Annechino expected us to sight read and read music flawlessly by January, when she knew 4/5 kids hadn't touched a violin before her. My private tutor thought she was nuts. Knowledgeable about music, but not at all a good teacher. No patience, not helpful for beginners. Don't take Instrumental music unless you have MASTERED music.
She is an excellent teacher.
I've had her for Music Appreciation for freshman year and yes, she can be very excessive. However I admire her passion for the arts and her determination to keep her students educated on the matter. She can be very overwhelming at times but she tries very hard. I have her for humanities this year and compared to the other humanities teacher, she gives you A LOT of work. You have to do a lot of research but for good reason. Don't be quick to judge and appreciate her love for music.
I understand not liking Mrs. Annechino personally, she is very into music and having her as a freshman as a requirement isn't that fun. However she is a great teacher. She truly cares if her students are learning and wants you to understand in full whatever she may be teaching. Just give her a chance and it'll be bearable.
Mrs. A is extremely sweet and guys I know you say she doesn't like you because you don't play an instrument, that is not true. She just thinks music is important, because it is! I spend time in her room and I feel like home, she is really sweet and she doesn't deserve those insults. If you don't like it, f you. LEARN MUSIC FOR KEEPSAKE! She is a teacher, she doesn't insult, she corrects. And if you have a doubt ask her. Also I was a lil' music vocab rusty and she helped me! ASK BEFORE INSULTING
Mrs. Annecchino is a teacher with a great passion for music but doesn't do a very good job as both an academic teacher and orchestra director. As a teacher, she has very little patience for and favors students with musical talent and those involved in the orchestra. As an orchestra director, she doesn't help students learn their instruments. Unless you have a good command of your instrument coming into high school, I suggest you don't join the orchestra. She only conducts, yells, and favors.
describe her in one word..... judgemental
She is crazy, if you don't love music as much as she does she officially hates you. AND she expects you to make your entire life revolve around music or your a waste of time. AND she expects you to fully understand a topic after only 30 SECONDS!!!Ugh
Mrs. Annechino is awesome. Very passionate and it shows, was helpful even though i didn't play an instrument or was in orchestra and was one of my favorite classes
she's my gf's mom! lol coolest lady ever, makes me wanna learn an instrument!
If you dont play an instrument--good luck. I hated her class.
if you're not in orchestra or play and instrument- that sucks. music is hard. the end. and yes she calls on the people who are legit confused.
I loved Mrs. Annechino. She would only pick on you in class if you were completely obvious about not paying attention - the rest of the time, she was a ridiculously lovely person.
She inspired me to be more passionate about music and helped increase my musical talent tremendously. She was fun, but can be strict. Great teacher!
she always tries to embarrass you..its really annoying
I don't really remember how she was. That kinda says something.
Mrs. Annecchino is an awesome orchestra director! She is a very nice person, she is always willing to help people, and she picks great music!
favors all the kids in the orchestra or who play an instrument
she rocks!!! she makes everything easy and picks the most awesome peices!!!!
She is so awesome!!! She makes everything so easy. It's my favorite class i'd rather be in!
Hey, that's not kool, i had her for music class the first year she was here and she was really nice.
