Ms. Null is one of the most caring teachers I have ever met. She actually cares about how well you do in the class if you do your work, try hard, and participate. My writing ability grew exponentially after completing her class and I felt extremely well prepared for the AP Test. I went after school to review my essays often and she always seemed willing to help and provided great feedback when I needed it. She is an amazing teacher and a great person! Very glad that I took her class.

So sick and tired of the creative projects. I'm in a AP class and doing more creative projects than I did in elementary school. She comes off as really nice and chill in person but grades pretty harshly especially on assignments, making it hard to get an a. If you're in AP Lang don't expect an A. Also takes 20,000 years to grade so no one really knows what grade they have. And when she marks you off she rarely gives an explanation for why she did even when you ask her in person

Ok literally the worst when it comes to explaining assignments. She tells you something is ok, but then marks you down for doing said thing she said was ok. Also literally tells you her expectations for an assignment as your turning it in or when she passes it back but fails to mention her expectations when she actually assigns it. If you're in this class be prepared for your grade to be hurt because of her horrible explanation of her expectations

Super unclear about what she wants out of assignments as well as when they are due. She gives out rubrics for essays the day before they are due and contradicts what she wants a lot. She also gives way too many creative projects and cares more about your writing containing fancy words than she does about the actual quality of analysis. You will not actually learn how to write in this class, just how to make stuff sound nice.

She clearly enjoys her job and cares about her students. Now with all the positives out of the way... Her homework while not hard is confusing. She seems very fake and is very uptight. She is fare to boring for any high school student, and doesnt answer questions effectively. ALOT of group work and VISUALS. If your like me, you can write and read very well, but visuals arent your think. Her class is not challanging, but time consuming, boring, and has far to much busy work. Consider transferring.

Ms. Null is by far my favorite teacher! Out of all the English teachers I've had, she has been the most helpful, understanding, and fun. Though she may assign lots of homework near the AP exam date, this is all to help you. She prepares you a lot for the AP exam, and discussions about in class readings are actually very exciting and interesting.

Like she says: you will work your butt off, but you'll know how to write. She can handle a class without raising her voice. You want to do well in her class.
