Señora Barrueta's classes are incredibly challenging, but work hard and commit to learning the language and you will forever reap the benefits. She is strong, passionate, and very caring. If only all teachers were as devoted.

I had Sra. Barrueta 28 years ago. Many fellow students and I are all using Spanish in our careers now. Best teacher I've ever had my whole life through (incl undergrad and 2 grad degrees!) AMAZING woman!!

very passionate about the language, knows so much about spanish speaking culture. the problem is that she is impossible to predict- sometimes she is super understanding, other times, mean. tests are random

Ms. Barrueta is the coolest teacher. Although people say the class is impossible, I guarantee that if you try hard and ask questions its really not bad.
