i thought she was a pretty good teacher and was very helpful when i went in to see her
In retrospect, she was probably the worst teacher I ever had. She made a sport of publicly embarassing her students, and decided what kind of student you were and gave you a consistant grade all year long. Only the material she assigned, and then tried to ruin, redeemed the class itself. She is a miserable woman
Totally ineffective and insensitive to the needs of her students.
Very unhelpful teacher who doesn't actaully teach anything. Her grading is completely subjective and based on her opinion of you. She should have retired 5 years ago.
Ms. Huyck intends to challenge you and make you a better english student. That's what teachers are for; don't act so surprised.
bad teacher, but the class wasn't too hard. i didn't learn anything new that year though
Mrs. Hyuck is a very good teacher. She makes you come to a conclusion on your own. She tends to play favorites, so get on her good side and this class will be smooth ride and fun.
very unclear about class assignments. when i go in for help.. she doesn't help me. she doesn't even read the essay.
SO BORING! this woman drones during class. during class she said she didn't want to help all of us; she also sighed when she spotted three of us in her office.
Her favorite quote? "Fool's names and fool's faces are always seen in public places."
She favors those who are "conservative" or "formal" in how they speak (especially during class discussions); also loves new ideas (given she agrees with them).
She's so funny, even though she doesn't mean to be. You have to like her.
ah yes, the huyckster. a little scary at times, but overall she really turns oyu into a good writer, something I am grateful for indeed!
i like her, but imust cofness, her class is sometimes so boring it's unfathomable!
She doesnt teach, she decides at the beginning of the year what type of student you are and only grades you based on whether or not she likes you. RETIRE!!!
She's kind of scary. I think that she's far more interested in psychology and self-created symbolism that actually teaching us anything. She makes me nervous.
Ms. Huyck is really cool. We have great discussions in class and she seems to be very inteligent.
