Honestly, I have him now as a Freshman, and he doesn't seem that bad. He doesn't, or haven't, done any random push-ups, hasn't called anyone stupid, always tells everyone that he wants to get back on topic, and is pretty consistent in his work. I have not heard or seen him do anything that the following people below have said. He is a nice guy, and usually snaps his fingers or make a sound to keep our intention towards him.
I don't think he knows much about what he teaches... I think he is actually insane. Fun class to have because he throws in some facts he does not know much about. Talks more to us about Deb (his wife) than ATP. He is a pushup enthusiate. Thinks that technology was made by the DEVIL.
Basically the worse teacher at Bchigh. His tests are impossible if you don't cheat. Avoid his class if you can
Suffers from little-man-wanting-to-be-a-big-man syndrome, although I'm not sure if that actually exists, because I didn't learn anything in his physiology class.
Good teacher who definitely knows what he is talking about. Sometimes gets off topic but it's all good stuff. Tests are not easy though... Definitely have to study
ask him if he lifts
Great guy but not the best teacher when ever I want to see him for extra help he never shows up. He still doesn't know the kid who sits next to me. He likes to snap his fingers and clap in your face with extreme enthusiasm and annoyance. Stil not the best teacher.
great man but isnt "all there" Doesnt know anyones names, and is like a mad scientist forgets what talking about, more hyperactive than a squirell when scared
probably the worst class i had freshman year...i learned nothing and fooled around all day everyday
Gets off topic, but still manages to get all the info across.
He is a nice person, but not a good teacher...I ended up teaching myself Biology...
not a bad teacher but can be kinda clueless sometimes
cannot stand him. He is a very childish teacher. He also has ridiculous motions that cause disruption. He does not know how to handle a class in a mature matter.
fix your belt or put your foot upo on the highest thing in the class room to do a great impression of him
he talks a ton and gives a lotta lectures. not a bad thing but not a good thing also.
I had Mr. Conroy as a biology teacher back in the 80s--though I still don't know why we had to read Dune for a biology class--and he was a great guy. Helped me a lot when my mom was sick, too. Very compassionate person and effective teacher.
absolute man. Get on his good side on the first three weeks and then coast through the rest of the year.
All you have to do to get an A is have your parents yell at him. My grade went from B-s to As!
Definitely one of the nicest guys on the planet. He's helpful if students take the time to ask him question, not just complain about the workload.
all i gotta say is take your vitamins and say your prayers..hehe just kidding.. he's a good guy in the classroom and weightroom..he just needs to stay on bio
Mr. Conroy isn't that bad of a guy. If you study hard (and lift weights) you'll be on his good side and succeed in his class.
All he does is ramble and he talks to hear himself talk. He's extremely unhelpful and the most disorganized person I've ever known.
He's a bit quirky/long/winded/wordy. A very intelligent man, dedicated to both his students and athleets. Everything I know about lifting I've learned from him
Hr. Conroy is one of the worst teachers i have ever had. He never sticks to the topic, and blames us for getting off track. He say's umans instead of humans.
If he could only stop talking and listening to himself in the weight room
Mr. Conroy is a good person, and you learn a lot in his class.
he was a really great teacher to me frosh and senior year. he knows what he's talking about, and has a passion for what he teaches. he's cool outside class too
Gotta love his diagrams. Very easy time in his class freshmen year. Glad to have had him as a teacher.
