Mr. Howard always loses things and also seems to think that he is right and each student is wrong. He also has unnecessary TED talk videos and makes a lot of jokes in class while tests are going on. He doesn't have good notes and uses projectors to do work. Along with that, his projects are also not based on geometry but more like an art project. Switch out, for your life. (P.S. 89.99.... he doesn't round.)
He's a cool dude (oldie guy but tech-loving), but that's the extent. His lessons are essentially word for word from textbook. He throws these "memory logs" into the lessons. Didn't really improve my learning experience. Learning from text book is easier. Tests are long but easy. He gives projects. Like WHO IN THE WORLD!!! WOULD GIVE MATH PROJECTS!!! (Oh, I get it... Real world simulation. That's stupid.)
Only saving graces are that there are so much Extra Credit, and TED talks are often.
im rating his class as hard because you have to learn everything by yourself through the book. also the things he writes on the board are super tiny so you still have to squint your eyes even if you are wearing glasses. the projects he assigns are also confusing as well, you will just have to make it look nice and ask others what to do. also he is super lazy and only upload grades once a month, even if you have an error on yours. if you have him SWITCH OUT NOW SRSLY YOULL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He smells!!! Lecture didn't help much, you might want to read the book on your own. People cheat in his class and he don't care at all.
He's the worst teacher ever that alters your answer when you answer his question in order to make fun of you. If you get him as a teacher get him switched out asap!
Could be better
He really wants to be a good teacher, but is just incompetent. He literally takes things straight from the book and forces you to copy everything or he will take away points (as if I couldn't just open the book and have all the information right there). He writes ridiculously small and has a mess of stuff on the board. The worst part is the Practice Problems at the end of class when he places it on a random part of the board and you have to find it before class ends. Sit in the front. That's all
Worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. I'm writing this review because today he had a surprise chapter test on the whole chapter that we didn't finish. I would've probably passed it with an A if he hadn't put two geometry questions on the test (I'm in algebra 2). I asked him if he would give us the formulas to solve these word problems because it had been awhile, but he told me that I should know it. I still do not understand how these questions had to with our chapter.
He can't exactly teach. He teaches out of the book and then doesn't teach it well. It gets super annoying and I can barely learn anything from him.
Honestly i think he is a pretty good teacher. Best thing you can do is pay attention and actually make an effort to learn. If you need help you can't be afraid to ask him for it, just don't waste his
He's a really weird guy but I think he isn't bad at teaching. As long as you can learn from the examples on the board, your good.
At first i really liked him because he is funny, but he is very shallow. I do not like that he does it one way and doesn't like if the students challenge him or points out his mistake.
Fakest teacher ever. Can't teach math at all and goes by the book. Everything taught in class is almost irrelevant to the tests.
he's a homeless man hired to give analogies barely related to pre-cal.
He's okay. He does show us how to do problems step by step. Unfortunately, he has a habit of talking to the board and telling unfunny jokes. Friend said he looks like borat. I find him pretty strict.
I strangely like him. The class is never boring for me. He's unpredictable and has diverse ways of teaching, though he is extremely hard and strict. Can be funny at times.
He is an example of "a teacher who doesnot want to teach".
i think he's pretty cool, but he needs to be a bit more into his class. and he's gotta review stuff before tests, not just a little bit of stuff
mr. howard is such a great teacher. even though he does nothing and gives us stickers and coupons, he is the best teaher ever. he lets us pick the sticker color too. my friend got two today, she now.
he's annoying but if you think about it he's a good teacher.
I had him for Algebra 2 and found his class to be a breeze. His tests and quizzes are from simple, and so are his projects. Bring your 'wrapped' textbook to class everyday, and you will do fine. If you scored below a C, he will allow you to retake the tests.
This is a boring and entirely unhelpful class. All of his examples are straight out of the book, and the book itself is not that helpful. Also, he assigns far too much homework with no regard for us.
doesn't teach at all. This is his first year teaching Pre Calculus, and seriously, he can't do it. Talks into the board, and basically copies the book onto the board. Not helpful at ALL.
Mr. Howard...yeah. =/ Something about him build...nah. Nevermind. *pokes Mr. R* He's an ok teacher, I mean he helps you and stuff, but I wish he would explain the homework though. =/
easy to get a good grade but he doesnt really teach that well o and its true we get sprayed with this squirt bottle thing....i dont think he has the patience to sit down and help people sometimes
He doesnt care if you cheat on homework. quizs are actually pretty hard if you dont pay attention even though its multi choice. He uses examples most of the time but not always.
I'm really not learning anything is his class. All he does is take examples from the book. I just learn on my own. He doesn't really respect his students. Except the jocks.
He's too easy on us and can't make up examples of his own and expects us to learn from the book on our own. He's very mellowed out and doesn't pay attention to cheaters on tests.
easy teacher while great at teaching and explaining at the same time. tests are hard but if study for them you should get an A in the class with ease
he writes too small. n his notes are RIGHT from teh book. i does not know how to teach. its all about BACON!
His tutoring sessions are accompainied with an awkward feeling and his frustrated tone. His projects are creative and fun, though. His teaching style needs help
hes a cool teacher.. laidback n everything but not very helpful...
