Supal is the smartest teacher you will ever have, 8/8, m8. Hes not meant to teach though, so have fun trying to learn java on your own. If you get this guy as a teacher ask him about 'supdog's raps' :D
First off, Mr. Supal's class is really easy. Students are just required to take notes (aka JAVA or SolidWorks files), do basic programming assignments, and review and test themselves on information that he puts on the study guide. It additionally applies to his final exams as well, which are also simple. He is knowledgeable at his subject, but sometimes students have to help him with class instruction. And lately he has tried REALLY hard to make IDS an educational experience. Easy class, OK guy.
This guy could easily be considered a genius. However, he was not meant to teach. His explanations were fuzzy at best, and if you get even a little bit behind, forget about ever catching up.
I enjoy the 3D printing technology
At first it may not seem like it, but Supal is a genius. He knows what he teaches and he is enthusiastic about it.
Inventor of Java, GA, and pretty much the coolest teacher ever
Mark L Supal entered this world oblivious to the fact that he would impact people's lives in unprecedented ways and invent Java. Today he may be found in his workshop mentoring troubled youth.
"if you jump in a moving bus, when you land are you still in the bus?"
Clueless, bad teacher. Example of how his mind works: He's the guy sitting on a tree branch sawing off the side attached to the tree. Doesn't explain Java, just does stuff on the projector.
I don't understand your class. I have made an effort to learn, and you have not made an effort to help me. You should not be a teacher, because you cannot teach. You're never clear about anything. :(
Supal knows his stuff, and is pretty helpful is you ask...however he just isn't clear about what we're doing. His class was wasy, though. Pretty cool, overall.
Mark Supal is a genius, and this is apparent through everything he does
