Mr. Vance was my teacher for both African History and World History. My two brothers were taught by Mr. Vance. I and my enjoyed Mr. Vance - the Teacher. He taught us a lot about World History and the role of Black people and all peoples. Smart,
intelligent, and a religious man Mr. Vance is and was. I am proud to have had Mr. Vance as my teacher.
Mr. Vance is so funny and cool with his lessons and he gets the point across.
Where do I begin? Part of me wants to put him with the greats. Another part of me wants to roast him. Honestly, he came across as very goofy and passionate about his subject. However, he was completely oblivious to the behavior of the class and disorganized. Part of me thinks he was a very good teacher to begin with, but as age caught up with him, he became more of a joke than a teacher. I have a lot of memories of him, and I think he has changed students' lives, but he needs to retire, SOON.
Boring, unhelpful, and unintelligent. His street smarts are less than most middle schoolers, he doesn't connect with students, and he is not involved with the class.
did not learn anything in his class. he never had essays and he talked mostly about his personal life. we watched movies everyday.
great teacher. easily up there with my favorites. really funny and really nice, wants you to learn. a friend and a teacher
omg i would never forget him he puts a smile on my face everyday he is the funniest person ive ever met plus he's a very great teacher well organized plans for his classroom
his work is easy, he talks loud and a bit too much, but overall a really good teacher
He talks WAY too loud and doesn't get your work back and/or just looses it.
Mr. Vance teaches with a powerful passion (and volume of voice) unlike any other teacher. He does not hesitate to use pop-culture to emphasize his lessons.
