One would think that it would be impossible to have a lower approval rating than President Bush, but Marlys does it with flying colors.
She makes this school a much worse place than it needs to be. One wonders: if she so detests students, why does she work in education?
As a day student in her cluster, I didn't have as much experience as others may have had but I really liked her.
ms. edwards was wonderful. she genuinely cared about us and taught us to see things in different lights. however she was not very organized and always very busy
I'm an alumnus of the class of 2004. To be fair, Marlys does her job unfailingly. To be equally fair, her job description doesn't include the word "pleasant."
She tries really hard, but between being a dean and a teacher she often forgets to return homework and grade tests in a timily manner. But a great woman!
Marlys is the WORST educator I've ever come into contact with. She says one thing, does another. Is inconsistent, unfair, and plays favorites BIG TIME.
she may seem tough, but give ehr a chance-we got to know each other well on the salamanca trip and theat 520 trip and she has a nice side that we tend toverlook
She gets a bad rep unfairly. She's just the messenger for a lot of "evil" decisions. Actually very nice and accomodating if you go about it nicely.
Tough job as dean. My sympathies. You can always get things done with her if you ask nicely. Sometimes I feel she has too much power, but whatever.
A caring person and in a very hard job as dean.I can not imaging doing such a difficult job She is doing it well
She is caring and concerned as a dean. She has a very tough job
well i am sorry to say that i like her. she is just really strict and straightforward making her the best person for the job because she cannot let the school become a disorganized place. She is fair according to the raw rules in the Blue Book.
I don't know her as a teacher, but as a dean, she's really good. She is always on the student's side, and has definately helped me out in disciplanary situations.
I liked her as a teacher, she didn't do much in class but she helped me a lot with my writing and I appreciate that. As a dean, egh, I don't know if anyone could do her job and be loved by everyone on campus. I like her though.
She's got a tough job and people don't make it any easier for her. She's very aware of campus opinion of her, and she really does do an okay job. Things get changed based on what your parents say, lawyers, and the people who give money to the school.
