one of the worst/most frustrating teachers/people i've ever had/met. picks favs, class uninspiring, grades harshly, doesn't understand the difference btwn curriculum 1 and ap. he made me HATE history.
Unfortunalty, I don't like history and when you get a teacher who just doesn't understand that a curriculum 1 student won't do the same amount of work as a honors student...He Expects too much from yo
Despite the intensity of his class, and the workload required for it, it was extremely rewarding to study under Marshall. He re-invigorated my love for history. I got a d+ first term, and by the end a 5 on the ap.
Pompous? Sure. But he backs it up with knowledge. great guy to talk to outside the classroom setting, too.
Not only knows his subject but understands it and puts life into it. Hilariously quirky and opinionated, never minces words so hjis classes are always entertaining.
Marshall Cohen is a horribly pompous teacher whose self-proclaimed purpose is to create a situation in which pupils who have previously done well in history, will now struggle
well, stefan...in the book it says one thing and you are saying something else.... this dude is MAD BEAT.
He understands his subject and knows how to teach it.
He is a great teacher, his clsses are very interesting. he is very bright, and funny. He really knows how to teach.
He's just an awesome teacher that sometimes goes off on tangents, but you learn a lot.
Cohen is a nice guy--a little whacky but in a good way. Interesting lessons- except for the ones I kinda fell asleep in.
One of the best teacher's I've ever had. He's interesting and musically talented.
He's difficult, but still a great teacher. I didnt do well in his class because i'm a slacker. It's not his fault at all. He's very fair and decent to students
mad marshal with the sandals, the guitar, and the well........ but you cant hate his war against the system
