Excellent theology teacher with good command of true Catholic Catechism and strong understanding of apologetics. If you want your son to learn true Catholic theology his class is an outstanding resource and starting point.
Relatively friendly to students (he's almost always smiling)
Focuses on big ideas rather than small details
Pretty easy class
Can get boring
Can hold views which could offend others
Lots of learning and some fun
The greatest teacher at Ignatius. He will deliver the TRUTH about theology unlike liberal teachers giving you an answer that won't make you feel offended. 10/10 love him
What a great man and wonderful teacher.
great guy.sometimes boring teacher but one of the nicest men at the school. always looks out for his students. glad to have had him
Mr. Dybicz is one of the best teachers I've ever had and I hope I get him again.
Best theology teacher ever. Super chill for a guy who grew up in South Chicago. #savage
Smokes the dankest. Hit him up if lookin for some dank theology paper to roll ur blunts. #poppopbang #subjectivist #smokinbluntsandgradestests #dybiczandchill
Mr. D was the best teacher I had Freshman year. Being from a public school kind of slowed me down, but Mr.Dybicz taught in a way everyone can understand and I respect him for being such a cool and nice teacher definitely an Ignatius man
Mr. Dybicz is one of the best teachers i have ever had. He makes things understandable and has an interesting way of taking notes.
Marty Dybicz once gave us a handout that he wrote claiming that the media and the anti-war movement made the US withdraw when it was on the verge of victory over the North Vietnamese and the Vietcong. His evident nostalgia for the Vietnam era should be evidence enough of the sort of instruction and twisted thought one will get in his class.
I had Mr. Dybicz for freshman theology 2012. His lesson on objectivism vs subjectivism was terrific. I see some complaints about his political ideology. I cant recall one time when he attempted to force upon us any political ideas. He is the head of the conservative club at ignatius and I consider myself a liberal/progessive in my own political beliefs and am still great friends with him. Dont attack him for teaching Catholic theology - its his job. Great teacher, great guy.
Great teacher and very helpful, gets just a little annoying when he brings politics in religion and philosophy, love watching a movie every quarter. One thing though, never eat ANYTHING in his room
cool guy and i enjoy the class but he is extremely close-minded and blindly follows the catholic church.
If you thought he was close-minded, it was because you were the close-minded one. Great teacher if you're willing to truly think.
Super chill dude, ok class, but had fun in there though.
Objectivist. I inspired him to wear his Bush button during elections. The BEST teacher.
Mr. Dybicz is THE BEST teacher i ever had, he explains everything and you learn a lot!
great teacher. he knows a great deal about theology and enjoys teaching it. A+
this guy is just a great man...best teacher at the school
Mr. D is by far one of the best teachers. He makes the information easy and fun to learn. I learned a lot from him and respect him a lot.
One of the best (if not the best) teachers I ever had. Very easy, but you learn A LOT.
He gives us exactly what we need to know, doesn't give homework, and its easier to remember his material! Theology is truly the Most Important Subject.
he definetly knows his stuff, and you can approach him with almost any question. Class can sometimes get boring and monotonous, but overall ot bad
Mr D is very cool, i have learned alot from him, i hope you other students think so as well.
He is the one of the greatset teachers i've ever had. he is very informative, and is funny (or @ least tries) i have sure learned alot from him
Mr. D is one of the best teachers that I have evr had. He make theology understandable and fun.
amazing. what can i say. top 5 teachers i have ever had. will actually discuss issues with you, something you dont often see
Very down to earth, learned a lot about stuff I didnt think I would learn about in his class
