Although she was a good teacher during the first marking period in terms of grammar and other technical aspects of English (good at teaching definitions/punctuation/structure of sentences), I do not find her a very good teacher when it comes to literature. She expects us (her students) to remember seemingly arbitrary facts and situations from the piece and doesn't really explain why she has chosen them. I liked her from September to about January, but now she's just a pain.
Not great I do all the work, but still she gives me bad grades. my piers hate her and want her to retire.
best english teacher ever!! she will definitely get u ready for ap next yr. those who dont like her are probably the trouble makers, but dont worry, u will appreciate her later
she's amazing once you understand how she teaches.. so sweet :)
She knows a lot but i wish she led by example. some of the things she says to her students can be hurtful even though that is not her intention.
One of the best teachers in WOHS. She really knows what she is doing. In fact, I shouldn't have used "really" in that last sentence. You learn a great deal in her class, and she means well.
Incredibly kind and helpful. She loves literature and her students. Great resource for academic as well as social advice; I'm in college and we still chat. Do your work and you won't have a problem.
mrs. mcgonigle was a great teacher and she helped alot thorugh out the year she made me pass with great grades i would want her to be my teacher again if i could.
She's a bit weird at times, listening to everything, but that's what makes her cool. I enjoy her class and all that writting helps out immensely!
Def. did not like her... she needs to stop picking on kids
I LIKE HER. ALL THAT WRITING SHE GAVE HELPED ME IMPROVE IN MY WRITING!!!!
THANKS MRS. MCGONIGLE!!!!!
She's alright...she can be nice...she would snap at me at weird times during class...she seems a lil cranky at times...her tests involve a TON of writing.
it may seem bad at first, but u are gettin preped for college writing
she's just extremely misunderstood; if i was teaching such easy work, i, too, would get annoyed w/slackers who have the nerve to get d's and f's
I had hera s a teacher back in the day . . . in the 70's
she is a great teacher and is preparing us for college!!!
