Mrs. Burrell is a teacher I'm never going to forget. She's made my first year in high school so much better than any other past teacher has done before. She makes you feel comfortable and safe in her classroom. She is very down to earth, and tells amazing stories with a surplus of details. 10/10 would recommend.

Burrell's can be a really nice person and very knowledgeable in Spanish but she is one of the most terrible teacher's I've had. She's been teaching for about 20 years and I've wondered if she was ever a good teacher. Her teaching is about 10-15 minutes per week and the rest of the time we're either doing work out of the book while she's just sitting behind her desk on her laptop.

Me encanta Sra. Burrell! I had for her for Spanish 1 and AP Spanish. She will be one of the teachers that I will always remember from my high school career. Her AP Spanish class is an easy A, but that's alright, I still learned a lot. Ms. Burrell is funny, nice, and caring. She is not only a great teacher, but a wonderful person as well! You should definitely take her class!

I had Ms. Burrell for SLAP and she was great. It was an easy A, and I did learn. I learned more in Spanish 3, but i still learned. Keep everything. She takes test questions right off the worksheets she gives you so make sure right down the right answers when she gives them to you. She is super nice and motherly. If you need anything, ask her. Follow her rulers and don't fool around and the class is a breeze

SHE DOESN'T TEACH! She sits at her desk on her laptop doing who knows what! I am learning nothing in spanish 2. She is very smart, but expects everyone to be as smart as her. She gives poor help and isn't clear at all! She holds grudges against students and won't sort misunderstandings out. The subject is harder than her class appears to make it. If it wasn't for the lack of lesson plans, I'd have an F! She is a BRILLIANT person with some really cool stories, but she is an extremely bad teacher.

Ms.Burrell is one of three teachers from this school that I will remember for the rest of my life. She cares not only about getting a good Spanish base but your education as a whole. She is truly a wonderful Spanish teacher that prepares you for life!

Had her for Spanish 1. I guess you can say she is one of those teachers that cares for her students and teaches you how to find the simple way out. I learned everything that she had taught, except for a few of those verbs, but the problem is that she didn't teach the EVERYTHING that was in the curriculum for Spanish 1. So once I passed the class and reached Spanish 2, I was sitting there in the class totally clueless of what other students were saying. I pretty much had to teach myself many of the things th

Ms Burrell... You are awesome. You are about your students, you are always ready to help, and you are never mean unless the kids are being complete jerks. You deserve a lot more respect than you get, I hope you know you are the reason I continued spanish. After I had you the first year I knew I wanted to take spanish all 4 years so i could have you again. Every teacher should be like you.
