She knows her stuff; that is very obvious. The problem is that she thinks that humiliating her students will somehow make them learn faster/better. If she was tough but approachable, that would be okay. Instead, her ridicule during class and even after during one-on-one sessions doesn't facilitate learning. Twenty years later, and even this A student hasn't been able to recover her self-esteem. Such a pity when she could have been a renowned teacher--in the truest sense of the word.
the best teacher for math and msc. Too bad she retired
i'm going to miss her next year when she retires. her classes are SUPER hard, but she truly cares about you and will help you if you want or need it. i hope MSC doesn't fall apart without her...
best teacher ever. She seriously works with you a lot if you need it, and is just great at teaching. Shes my favorite teacher. She may be hard at times but she teaches well.
She's difficult. But, when you're done your prepared for college... get ready for C's.
I don't like her. I got a 5 on AP Calc BC, but I don't like her. She's great at what she does though, best MSC teacher... maybe
Seems a lot of people have pent-up, misplaced rage about Ms. Buda. She truly cares about all her students and has made MSC the premier academic powerhouse in Michigan. She's grea
Buda is hard, but she really teaches you the material.
Although her class is difficult, Mrs. Buda is extremely good at what she does, and she is far better than Mr. Coates. When she retires, MSC will far apart.
Buda is amazingly difficult, but if you study enough you'll do well on her tests. She's very good at making you remember the information.
Shes a good math teacher but sometimes she expects too much. If ur mean to her shes mean to u.
She's quite difficult, but I've found that if you really work at it you can succeed in her class. Extremely frightening, but very good at what she does, just don't goof in class
She wasn't my favorite person in the world, and her teaching turned me off of math forever. But I did very well on the A.P. test. So there's good and bad.
buda...well shes a really good teacher but super super hard. i was getting all a+s in math until her class...but maybe thats just cuz its msc. shes really sweet tho :-D
Ms. Buda knows how to teach. Although her classes are somewhat difficult she can make anyone understand anything. The best math teacher I have ever had!!!
Ms. Buda is the greatest math teacher ever. The only reason some kids don't like her is because her class is hard. Her students AP scores are off the charts.
anyone who thinks that ms. buda is hard or her class is not worth taking, was clearly not intelligent enough to be in one of her classes. greatest math teacher.
Shes a pretty good teacher from what i've seen so far but if sum1 gets 100 on a test, its not cuz it was too easy, its cuz they studied! and stop embarassing us
Ms. Buda was one of the best math teachers I ever had, in high school and college combined. She expected you to work, but if you did, you learned a lot.
shes a little better than vogt but that aint saying much if ne one knows her.
the AP credit wasn't worth taking her classes. College is easier than Buda. And at least I actually learned something from college.
Ms. Buda was the best math teacher I ever had. She expected you to achieve your personal best- made math accesible even to people who didn't grasp math quickly
You taught me geometry in 1984 and I appreciate all you did. (Even the paper we had to write on Euclid). Thank you - I now teach math as well.
She may be tough, but she got me a 5 on the test. I remember hating her for making me feel dumb in front of the class one time, but she's good overall.
Always makes me think of that song from R.E.N.T.-The La Vie Boehm song or w/e look up the lyrics you'll see...
Ms. Buda helped me place out of a full year of math in college. I graduated in 86 and I still remember her well.
Ms. Buda is an excellent teacher. Because of her, I got a 4 on the AP Calculus BC test and won't have to take math in college. Very hard, but willing to help.
didn't help me at all when I went after for help-instead laughed at me because of how lost I was (seriously). I have never hated a teacher with more passion.
Very good at what she does; but doesn't drill it into your head so you have to remember it on your own. You learn a lot but her tests are so hard you fail anyway.
The kind of teacher where you understand math pretty quickly (if you're paying attention). And yet you fail miserably on her tests. Or maybe it's just me.
AN AWESOME TEACHER, ALWAYS WILLING TO SPEND MORE TIME W/ YOU SO YOU UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING.
Not an easy teacher, but very good and teaches you a LOT!
I learned more from her than all other math teachers combined. She was always willing to help when I needed it.
