Fantastic teacher, highly encouraging and insightful.
A great english teacher.
A great English teacher. I took an English elective with her in senior spring, and she was incredible.
If she loves your writing style, you're set. Talk to her outside of class about the essays -- your grade is directly proportional to how much she has contributed her opinion. But honestly, she's an amazing person, thinker, and teacher. So much to learn, so much to appreciate. Now get that six ;)
Mrs. Fulton knows more than anyone I have ever met about English but she is stuck in the teaching past. She allows for no discussion, running a completely question and answer class. I do not recommend her.
Ms. Fulton is such a wonderful woman. You need to get to know her outside of class. She is absolutely brilliant, so don't miss your opportunity to befriend an amazing thinker.
So much to criticize about Fulton. But here are the main points. 1. She grades arbitrarily and when I went to conference to ask for help, she doesn't give concrete advice on how to improve. 2. She concentrates on the most trivial details on quizzes. 3. She tells you to only sleep before the exam. Hello! Every teacher gives an outline of what the final exam is usually on. But she doesn't.... 4. She hates abbreviated titles.... and would penalize you so much on essays if you disagree with her.
The thing with Ms. Fulton is that she's incredibly sweet and a genuinely nice person, but her English classes are so boring.... She talks literally the whole time and there's very little actual discussion in the class. She's not the easiest grader nor the hardest; I'm pretty sure she'll improve your
She is really a verrrrry sweet person. she loves her class and she makes you love it too. She goes off on adorable rants sometimes but she really has a wealth of knowledge on tons of things that she is very eager to share. get to know her outside of class :d
This woman is incredible. She can recite any line from any book from memory if you ask her. Fair grader - when I worked hard I did well, and when I didn't she could tell. But watch out: she assigns copious amounts of reading and it is easier to get behind.
ms. fulton. she may be nice, but i have found her to be unreasonable/annoying at times. and I honestly tried in her clas, i did. never got a 5 (though i was supposedly borderline). essentially, no matter how good ur paper is, if she doesnt agree, you will not get a five. period. end of story.
i loved ms fulton. she has her favorites though so you have to get on her good side if you want that 5. talk to her out of class (she loves to talk about her adopted kids) and ask for help with papers. also try not to disagree with her.
Mrs. Fulton is a great person, and fun to talk to outside class. I think that had I had her for something other than English, or at least not 1st period, I would have really enjoyed her class. In class she was more of a talker however, and there was little discussion among the students. A fan of 4s.
LOVES the subject. really nice about extentions on paper and just in general. gives pop inclasses and intense quizzes. tends to grade formal essays harshly... but overall nice.
Mrs. Fulton understands the value, beauty, and function of literature so well. She is always willing to continue discussion after class is over. Passionate and filled with great anecdotes and quot'ns.
Get out of her class now! She gave out 0's on papers, and had very unclear grading policies. Her class was the most boring I've ever taken.
I don't think I liked a single english course at PA until her elective. She makes you work quite a bit but rewards you for it. She's also wicked nice about extensions.
Extremely nice teacher. Knows the material backwards and forwards. Is very empathatic in giving extensions to combat the Upper workload.
homeworks are very relaxed... I must say.. very nice teacher; I struggled in English, but she helped me out and saved me very hating English... Thanks!
One of the best teachers I have ever had. She is an absolute genius. Extremely enthusiastic about the material, and very interesting. Also very sweet.
she's really a nice lady, she defintely knows his stuff, but can go off on tangents quite often. a fair grader of papers, and i did learn a lot about writing papers from her
(Dude, she walks her cat on a leash because the cat is blind.) Ms. Fulton is the coolest. She is quite possibly my favorite teacher at Andover. She totally loves the material she teaches and she makes you love it too.
Very dull. Put me to sleep everyday without fail. Obsessed with Jane Austen.
she is the sweetest person !!! she adopted 4 preteens, her cat i sblind, and hse invited her class over to her house to watch a movie and she made us brownies!! class is kinda bring, and someitmes she can be kinda clueless, but she is very nice.
