I'm 39 years old and she was my most challenging but yet best teacher I had.
I remember having her for pre-calc. Although she was not the easiest teacher, she was very clear about what was expected. Try to do the homework before class, she goes over it.
If you have a good math foundation coming into her class and can move at a fast pace, you are all set. If you had poor math teachers and/or need lots of reinforcement, you have no hope. She teaches well to the top students, which is good for them but bad for you. She is unapologetic about it. A classic linear, mathematical mind. No surprise.
We're only in high school. She needs to give partial credit. She has ruined my school-year, because I am an excellent student but she has taken away all of my self-confidence. So much for my GPA.
I had Mrs. Hatch twice in the early 90's. She was very fair and i loved her class.
I was a very hard student and she was patient and kind.
Although she cares about the students, she is not a good teacher and is too concerned with minor errors to impart true understanding of concepts to her students
