An excellent history teacher. Prepares you well for IB or AP History exams. Fun and interesting classes. Exceedingly knowledgeable and prepares you well for college where dissertations are the norm and you can expect someone to challenge your opinion
i took IB history with you in 2006 and you are the most amazing teacher i have ever come across! <3
Although he gives us A LOT of pointless work to do, and I do mean a lot, he is cool. He definitely has favorites, and if you're one of them, you're fine for the whole year. He surely knows a lot. Like I said, he's really cool. I like him.
Oh Ginsby, I think it'd only be fair if we students could rely on our own laptops during tests and presentations, too, but alas, fairness was never something you understood, at least in my opinion. What makes history such a wonderful subject is to have the student engage with the past to make conscientious conclusions about the present and beyond. Sadly, Ginsberg has ruined that magic for me.
Hes a wonderful guy--even if he doesn't read your papers! A teacher that is so interested in his subject that it makes you want to like history!
Too lazy to grade anything, just looks at the name on the paper and uses that to assign the grade. Also makes up some of his history as he has an answer for everything.
Knowledgeable, but teaches from laptop notes and gives vague, trite answers (sometimes based on films!) to specific historical questions. Huge superiority complex. Irritable.
Ginsy is a good teacher, I suppose, but he is very, very opinionated. If he says something and you like try to ask him about its validity, he yells at you really loud, and spits.
This man is the reason I teach today. He's amazing. Thanks, Mr. G!
He knows more than a history book!! I love him he is a goof.
if you ever get this guy, you will learn...strait up...
Big Mo knows his stuff and it shows with his student's high AP scores. He brings a world of knowledge to the class through at least five pages of notes a day.
Dude... I hated history before coming into Ginsberg's class, and now that I'm in... history's not so bad anymore. I can actually pay attention in class!
Ginsberg can be scary, I hate history but he makes it fun and exciting!
I love Ginsberg he's so much fun, he's like a big, round, goof. He seems kinda scary on the first day- but don't be fooled he's really informed.
He is really easy, lotsa BS. He doesnt read any assignment he grades. You can write him notes on essay & he wouldnt know:) He couldnt teach w/o his notes.
Ginsberg is one of those teachers that you can't ignore, no matter how much you try. His class is chakled full of information
He knows and loves history, so its hard not to be engaged but what he has to say. And his grading is simple . . . the more you write, the higher you score.
He's rather opinionated, but he has some good information to give.
I love this class. Ginsberg really intimidated me at first but now I have no fear of him or his class. He explains everything and puts up with me asking questions all the time. He knows what he is talking about and I feel very prepared for my AP test.
