Ms. Wilson isn't the best, but teaches you what you need to know. While not the clearest she helps out anyone who needs it, and tries really hard.
She has a bad rap among freshmen, but honestly, I love Ms. Wilson. She may not be the very best at explaining things, but she tries super hard! She's always willing to help out, and she's so sweet! Her tests can be hard, but she almost always curves them a lot. She also hardly gives homework. Just be a good kid. Don't be rude and you'll have a good time.
I had Ms. Wilson last year, and her personality is everything you could ask for in a teacher! Though her in class lectures/PPTS may not be very thorough, it was very easy to maintain an A in her class. Self studying is key. While others may view this as bad, it prepares you for future courses. After all, APHG is a college course, and you cannot expect a professor to teach you everything. It is good to establish these self studying skills now, as it will become very handy in the upcoming years!
Very sweet person with great knowledge of South Africa. In terms of teaching, her repetitive power points teach you nothing for the APHG AP exam. I suggest reading the book and using the Princeton review everyday in class instead of wasting your time listening to her talk about irrelevant history (in terms of the exam). your best bet is going to Mr. Johnson at the end of the year so he can help you prepare for the exam. Overall, she is a nice person, but a HORRIBLE teacher.
So you should know that APHG is a self taught class if you have miss wilson...you do not get anything out of her DAILY REPETITIVE powerpoints. Good luck if you have her. She's a decent person, but her class is a waste of an hour. Bring your textbook to class and read that instead.
Doesnt teach but u can do what ever while shes presenting her powerpoint. Theres a reason why everyone fails her tests. Plus all the stuff she "teachs" has nothing to do with the test so good luck.
I have her as a AP Human Geography teacher, and she makes her tests 50% knowledge and 50% of her so called "logic". She expects students to know facts that she never taught, and calls it common sense. She is also extremely irresponsible, accidentally using the wrong answer key for tests and she did not notice her mistake until students pointed it out to her that there is no possible way the class average was a 36%.
I love her class i really have learned alot and my comprehension of story and poetry structure has improved alot eventhough her class isnt really hard but its not really easy either
Class if fairly easy. She doesn't really teach anything, and she is very vague about test material. She is a pretty nice person though.
Her teaching methods are pointless and redundant. They are just there to waste time. As a person, she is very nice. I love her accent.
You'll learn nothing in her class. She'll complain to you about eating in her class. She really needs to stop with the 'my heart pumps custard for you' stuff.
not very effective, but I loved hearing about S Africa
Easiest class! If your on her good side, you can get away with anything. Just sleep to pass the time....
Ms. Wilson is the best and her class is easy! "Honey!" Love you Ms. Wilson!
5th per is the best,esp when ur sharing it w/ B. Blake,M.Morrison, and A.Wilheim
it'play time!I feel for you if you get Mularkey, but at least you learn something
Shes ok, you can get away with pretty much anything in her class!
Ms Wilson was so nice. I'm glad I had her as a teacher!
