Ms Shen seems extremely nice on the outside, but once you hand in a paper or see one of her tests you will see what a hard grader she is. I spent 8 hours on an essay for her class only to receive an 83 claiming I did not use enough evidence when she said my outline had enough evidence. She is nice and approachable and her class is not awful to be in, the only bad thing is the grading. Overall nice person, class is pretty clearly set up. Take advantage of homework points and discussion points.
I would ;). Yes please!
On the real Ms Shens a dime piece. Hottest teacher at LS right now
Ms Shen is a very difficult grader so it is hard to do well. Obviously she is easier on modern america students than 20th century students. Essays are very difficult to do well on and when you go to ask for help she is not very helpful in articulating what she wants from you. Her tests aren't bad but her multiple choice is killer. Class is pretty boring - usually a slideshow and lecture while taking notes. She is nice most of the time but is also very passive aggressive.
She is a great teacher I've learned a lot from her this year. She does not get mad easily she also interacts with the kids and tries to understand them and help them.
loved her! i found history sooo boring, and Ms.Shen turned me around. Her class wasnt difficult, it was just time consuming. and if you put the time in you'll get an A like me! thanks ms.Shen!
i loveeeee ms. shen. she has such an awesome teaching style and personality!
ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS I'VE HAD AT L-S. She really cares about her students and about teaching. Don't miss her class! She's one of a kind
This class was one of the worst experiences I have had in my schooling career. The fact that we had to pass in notes on the reading everyday was ridiculous.
Nasella is so fun. Really caring and sooo helpful, she's very fair and a great teacher! I learend so much from 20th. I hated Hist. but she made me love it!
"Naz" was good! She knows how to get the class involved, and stay involved.
Ms. Nasella clearly cares about her students, and tries her best to help everyone's individual needs. I enjoyed taking her class, and learned a lot.
