The best way I can describe her is that the will help you go as far as you want to go. She can't make a person who doesn't care about CompSci suddenly care and become an expert, but if you don't know how to program and want to learn, she'll take you to the limits of what you care about. I say this as a graduate over 10 years into my career and I still consider her class the pivotal moment in launching my career, even more than my entire college education.
she teaches very well for begginners and for experianced programmers/computer users
if you are looking to study in the field of computers, mrs colvin is the teacher to see. i've had mrs. colvin for two years in three different classes. i have enjoyed her classes very much, as well as her being my bowling coach. if you pay attention in her class, you will learn, as well as enjoy her class. fun time sdo exist in her class and she is not amena teacher. if you have a negative opinoin about her well..........GO HOME AND RE EVALUATE YOUR LIFE YOUR TRYING TO BADMOUTH A GOOOD TEACH!
She's a great teacher and overall awesome person. The classes are great if you like Computer Science i'd totally recommend her classes
She's nice and all but lacks describing things to the students and then tests them on it and they fail. She also plays favorites.
her classes are pretty easy, and a nice person to talk to.
She is an intelligent person. So much so that she can make you answer your own questions without giving you the answers. On occasion, she may not be sure of an answer, but she can get it quickly.
knows everything that she has to know about computersbut cant control, Everyone else that rated her on that and said she didn't know anything is really wrong.
Doesn't seem to know much about Computer Science for a Computer Science teacher. Unless having students fixing computers that she doesnt understand is self study
Nice person, bad teacher. Doesnt know much about the programming languages she teaches. Well, cant really call it teaching, more like assisted self study.
Nice but wacky teacher. Actual computer knowledge varies.
