she's the dumbest teacher i've ever met. she tells us not to use wikipedia, but all her lectures are from there. i learned nothing in that class, but it's very easy to do well.

eeeasiest class ever. she is very nice and occassionally funny, but honestly, she is one of the worst teacher's i've ever had. by the time you're a 2nd semester senior though, you don't care that she sucks. so that class is pretty good. but seriously, she doesn't know anything.

Teaches a relaxed and easy class, but makes you feel like you're in elementary or middle school. Ask her something she doesn't know and watch her look it up on wikipedia...

Comp. Religion: Very easy (everyone has A's), tons of guest speakers and class discussions. No pressure to work hard, but you learn a lot/is fun. Likes to show videos. Very nice person as well

Not too shabby a teacher if you can stay awake through her lectures. Sometimes it feels like she's teaching 6th-graders, but usually ok. Do your own 20th century review for SOLs though; she never makes it there. (She may pace herself better next year) Some busywork, but class is easy. Read all her study guides and know maps and you're set.

If you already know a little history, you'd teach this class better than her. (She's been known to research wikipedia for a lesson) If you don't know any history, this class will still be a joke. However, she gives funky projects that take up time, and it will be difficult to pass advanced on the SOL's (Yes, she IS that bad). But overall, easy class. Most people got A's

Probably my least favorite teacher, but also the easiest class I've had at TJ. Kind of corny, disorganized, and OBSESSED with being politically correct, but our midtem was 30 matching questions with a word bank. Not sure if we're going to be prepared for SOL's, but I hear that she crams it all in in the last few weeks. The debates aren't actually thought-provoking..everyone reads the required reading ten minutes before we debate it. Still, the schoeplein-williams hum is the BEST.

I loved the Schoeplein -Williams HUM 1! Ms. Schoeplein's class always had fun and thought provoking discussions that are perfect for people who like to argue. However, her curriculum is a bit disorganized and I felt we could have spent more time on histoy and less on politics/religion. nevertheless, her teaching style was good (minus a few of the projects) and if she focuses more on the history, the class would be perfect. She is also very interested in us as people and not just students.

Easiest class probably offered at this school. Shes laid back, likes projects, and kind of new. Sometimes she's pretty obvious about her political opinions during class and stuff and needs to manage time better. We covered about a century and a half in 2 class period right before the SOL.

I learned more in her class that in any two of my other classes combined. You can't sleep in her class either.

Not the greatest teacher (not exactly the most perceptive), but certainly not the worst. Quite easy work.
