Mr. Amendola is awesome! I have him for honors physics, which is a difficult course, but he only wants his students to succeed. He encourages questions and sets up a great learning environment for his students. However, don't expect an easy A, the only way to do well in his class is to work hard. That means going in after school when you don't understand concepts, asking questions during class, and keeping up with school work. He's a great guy, probably my favorite teacher!
I did terrible in this class and he chewed me out a lot but he did try and was a great guy, still had fun in his class, I miss it.
He's a tough teacher and a tough person in general but he's not out to get you. I agree that his Chem H class is hard.
his chem H class is hard... and sometimes he skips over explanations. he doesn't mean to be mean, he just wants his students to do best. it's sad he's leaving this year... amendola is awesome
Mr. Amendola is a very very nice man. He has great intensions. He loves when his students succeded and he tries his best to explain to them each lesson. B/c he's very smart, he somtimes gets side tracked. u'll thank him later
His Chem H class was very fast paced and rigorous. He most definitely knows the ins and outs of his subject, perhaps a bit too much to the point of over-complicating the material. Over-all a good teacher and experience.
His Chem H class is very difficult, and sometimes he explains concepts in a way that is incomprehensible to students. However, when he's in a good mood, he's a really fun person.Just remember, you have to work hard to do well.
He's definitely not easy, but he's a great teacher and shouldn't be attacked for being angry. He's only angry because you're not getting it.
i had organic chemistry with mr. amendola. his class was very difficult (which was expected with organic chem) but he did a good job teaching for the most part. my opinion, though, is he is more suited for a univeristy position rather than a high school.
This guy is awesome! He is the best chem teacher out there! GO AMENDOLA!
i he's a great guy and you can tell he loves science. he's enthusiastic and he genuinely cares about his students, but he's kind of too smart to be teaching hig
His tests are extremely difficult and eh maintains a *poor* classroom environmet. He gets grouchy pretty often, too, but he's a nice guy.
He knows what he's talking about but has serious issues conveying the information and maintaining anything but a poor classroom environment. He's good 1-on-1.
