I was initially afraid of taking his class, but really, it was awesome. He was hard and intimidating, but I think it was worth it. The readings were sometimes...interesting, but cool.
Mr. Casey is very opinionated and cares only about people who support his ideas. If one has different viewpoints, usually they get owned. I would never ever take Casey again because of his grading methods and ideology.
Mr. Casey has very high expectations (He's like a college professor!); thus, good writers pwn his course, while everyone else gets stuck in the mud. Pay attention to what he says in class and get his direct advice on papers.
Very hard, don't mess up it will own you. He is great for an english teacher though.
He is a teacher you will hate personally, but he will make you a much better reader/writer if you work hard in that class. Get upperclassmen to help you in that class, you will need it.
I don't really pwn his class but he's a cool teacher. I like him.
If you try, you'll do fine with Casey. And you'll learn a lot too. And, much as his no late papers thing is annoying, it works.
Casey acts mean, but he's really a good teacher, and sarcastic and funny and keeps everyone amused in class, he's a cool guy
he is a very amusing, though bitter man..i greatly enjoyed my senior electives with him
Well, he doesn't teach well, I'll grant. But is that really what you want from an English teacher?
