Awesome style. I'll miss him for sure!
He's a very intelligent man. His knowledge of the subjects he teaches is superior to anyone else. This bring said, the dude is a ball bag. He demands perfection and will screw you if you don't give it to him.
Mr. Guardino teaches some of the hardest classes on campus, and I respect him for that. He really tries hard to engage his students in learning material. But he also is the most dramatic teacher I have ever had. If you raise your hand to ask a question while he is speaking, he'll get offended. If you ask him to clarify something, he gets offended. One time, he made a typo on a test, and when he told us the typo, the class sighed/laughed in relief. He took it as an insult. Good teacher, but drama
Mr. Guardino is not a super warm-and-fuzzy kind of teacher, but he is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. Although he may seem a little tense, he is a very good teacher with many years of experience.
Mr. Guardino is the most intelligent teacher I've ever had. Although he may seem harsh at first, his class was the only one that prepared me for college.
The most dedicated man I have ever known. I feel privileged to have held a seat in his classroom.
Michael Guardino is by far the best teacher I have ever had the honor of working with at Carmel High School. Those who have insulted in behind the mask of anonymity, using poor grammar, making sweeping generalizations were not ready for the class.
I had Mr. Guardino twice in my high school career and he coached me in wrestling. This was many years ago. I want to say that he is the best teacher I ever had. He is exactly what our country needs. Nobody takes more pride in his job.
Mr. Guardino definitely knows everything there is to know about physics and is a good teacher. I respect him for that. However, the fact that he grades every single homework assignment like a test makes the class extremely difficult. You have to have the perfect answers in order to get full credit. I see many of his teaching methods unnecessary but I think he really could be a great teacher if he wouldn't grade so harshly and have some sympathy for his students.
Great teacher, but plays favorites. He decides who he likes in the first two weeks of school. He prefers girls and baseball players. If he likes you then you're set for the rest of the year, but if he doesn't then you have to work extremely hard. He also demands respect from his students. He will get angry if you try to interject him or when explaining your actions. He views it as an attack on his authority. If someone raises their hand when he is talking he acts as if it interrupts the class.
He is a great teacher and even though he is a difficult grader he is probably the best teacher i have ever had when it comes to the amount of information he is able to teach in the hour and fifteen minutes that we have for class.
Exceptional teacher. If you respect him and put in the effort, you will be well rewarded. He is the most knowledgeable teacher in the school.
He's probably the best teacher I've ever had. He knows the subjects very well and his methods of teaching work well if you pay attention or make an effort. If you take his classes, just be prepared to
He has a HUUUUUGE ego and bosses around the other science teachers. Plays favorites. Because of him, I lost a scholarship. I was the only person to apply
What most people don't understand about his classes is that he teaches like a very good college professor. It's YOUR job to remember what he taught you. By far, the best teacher I've ever had.
He was the most devoted teacher I had at CHS; he expects devotion from students. Learned more from him about Physics, AP Chem, and Marine Research than I did from a BS and a Master's @ UCSD. No Joke.
He's one of the hardest teachers, but he's a truely amazing teacher. He knows his materials so well, and loves teaching it. You might have a hard time in his class if you're an average student.
Best Science Teacher. Difficult class, but in the end you learn more than you do in any other class at CHS. He really loves his students, especially students he has for more than year. thanks Mr. G
Oh please! I had Mr. Guardino for two classes and he truly is a phenomenal man. His classes were tough to get through. He is a good man w/a great knowledge and CONSISTENT procedures. Lighten up!
He is the best teacher ever if you want to learn. His students wouldnt have gotten the college of their choice without his help. He actually impacts our lives in a good way.SCUBA!
He is a really good guy, even if honors physics is super hard. He stays after school and mornings to help with everything, you just have to really pay attention
Mr Guardino is not popular with many students because he is difficult, but he is an excellent teacher, and if you get on his good side he is really a cool guy!
He is the worst teacher ever......he is not helful and is always in a bad mood. everyone fails his classes and its not a place you want to go in learn at.
you are awsome and you try to help most the time but you need to not get so mad and just me more helpfull.
hes very mean and intimidating.....im always scared to ask questions because im afraid he will get mad.
how about handing the homework back before the tests???! what's with being graded on your homework you didn't understand and then learning the material after???
guardino is tough but if u show ur effort & try ur hardest ull be rewarded by gaining his respect and he'll like u. loosens up w/ students as u get older. good!
Whenever you have a question he groans and never explains it. He always says stuff the same way. Its not very useful.
he is one of the best teachers in the school .. no doubt his classroom is hard but he is very understanding and a top 5 best teacher at the school
He is one of the hardest teachers I've ever had. He only cares about effort, not intelligence. And yes, he can be scary...ehh....
he is one of the hardest teachers in high school, but also one of the best. he has a 96% passing rate for his AP chem class which is amazing
guardino is a really hard teacher, no doubt. its hard to ask ?'s in class. but hes also a really good teacher, and most people that take the class learn a lot
He's great. But his class is hard if you don't bother to memorize everything on sight and you shouldn't interfere with The System either. He'll be angry...
Mr. Guardino is one of the smartest teachers at our school who really is there for the students. He is awesome with what he does!
he can be extrememly harsh, + his course is very difficult. sometimes he makes it seem that asking questions interrupts the class, +he speaks rashly to students
The strictest teacher known to mankind. His classroom is run by fear.
Guardino gives a lot of work so that you actually learn the material
