Chooses favorites among his students and puts their interests ahead of everyone else's, despite the fact that his favorites are not up to par with a number of kids who are overlooked. The afterschool voice teachers are excellent. Work with them, not McVey, if you want to learn how to sing.

Enjoys the notion of having control over a group of kids far too much and can be quite nasty. Generally irrational and untrustworthy. Avoid him if you can.

Incredible teacher! You will learn a lot about singing from him. Chooses fun, yet challenging pieces and always puts aside time to give you some extra help. One of my favorite teachers!
