nice and easygoing person. but very disorganized. doesn't look like he has lesson plans most of the time. always late to class. usually thinking of things to do on the spot
I had in first term for Year 3 Spanish. I will say that you need to study the vocabulary by yourself. He likes to focus on the grammar a lot. His tests are also hard because for every mistake you make
Very fair teacher, mostly because when it seems that you werent paying attention, he doesn't yell at you. Lenient test grader and gives very helpful advice to remembering spanish rules.
Hes one of those old fashioned teachers who think theyre always right and nothing is ever their fault.Makes a mockery of the name teacher- doesn't teach, but still gives tests.
Not at all a good teacher. He gives tests without even going through the material.
he's ok. The hw is fairly easy. He teaches with the long english words referring to spanish but thats not the point. he uses large terms and the class doesn't understand because he talked about rules
His tests are fairly easy, but it's kind of easy to make some careless mistakes. ALWAYS do the hw. There usually pretty short. His greatest fault is that he seems to assume u already learned the ma
His tests are okay, all you need to do is know the material. At times class was quite boring, but on the whole, he's an okay teacher.
has pretty easy tests. just do the homework. be sure to speak loudly when answering him because if you dont, a lecture might come up. he randomly chooses people to answer, so be ready!
his tests are DROP-DEAD HARD. Never not do a homework, it's your main source of power in this class. Hard to study so just do sleep in class, and enjoy him freaking out when he mishears someone.
Asi, asi... I have him for Spanish 1. EXTREMLY HANDICAPPED IF IT'S THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE HAD SPANISH.
be prepared for when he randomly calls for you. take his advice and speak loudly so he doesn't hear it incorrectly and embarrass you.
I remember how he was telling us the world would end if we didn't do out hw.
Nice and knowledgable. A really sweet guy. Gives hard tests though.
somewhat intelligent and a nice, well-read guy, but an awful teacher who does not prepare you
He's actually a nice teacher. It's just that his teaching methods are whack. I do think that he grades too low and it's unreasonable. Regardless, he's a nice human being, just a horrible teacher.
An excellent teacher but you have to work real hard to do well in his class.
so cool i <3 him!! he'll try and help ppl who are doing poorly. he gives u fun rhymes and other things to make learning spanish fun. only bad thing is that he gives pop quizzes every day but if u do ur hw u should be fine
To me, his quizzes are hard. But if you participate and participate he'll see that youre trying hard and give you a higher grade. Tried and true!
He's a great teacher. But bad class notes-he mostly teaches orally. Be attentive b/c he calls on ppl randomly. He gives low grades for the 1st or 2nd marking pd but that is to make you study harder. Study hard !
I've actually regressed in Spanish from having this man as a teacher. He doesnt care about grades-he's told us that specifically. Class is a waste of time, no curriculum, you learn nothing. Do what you can to change teachers
Mr. Garcia is a great teacher because he really wants you to learn. He's very helpful, and lthough the pop quizzes are surprising, if you do your home work and participate in class then your good. Overall he's a great teacher
he is a pretty good teacher, but a harsh grader, gives alot of pop quizzes and hard tests. do all your homework or u will get screwed over and save them all cause he collects them at the end of the term
He's a pretty good teacher, but he is HARD!!! He gives suprise quizzes, but I guess it makes you study. If you seem to understand and work he will help your grade at the end. He isnt that mean, he really will be fair!!!
He is a really nice guy and is a somewhat good teacher, BUT there are some problems with having him as a teacher. For one, he gives surprise quizzes and tests. He is a hard grader as well. I hope he will give a FAIR final!
Senor Garcia is one of the most enjoyable Spanish teachers I've had! Love him!
very fair grader and very nice. i had a 80 avg on his tests mainly due to careless mistakes and he gave me a 96 as a final grade. mr. garcia rocks my socks.
great teacher and very funny but sometimes i wish he won't give an exam (or two) every week.
He DOES play mind games! Cancels quizzes all the time, then pops them later on, but he's actually a good teacher...except for the TOO MANY EXAMS thing
Great teacher. Only problem is that he likes to play mind games about quizzes. One should study and do hw. his tests are easy. you just have to sturdy the textbook.
i learned a lot of spanish from him. he's very approachble and nice. he is also easy. very good teacher. :)
save all the hw you do, cuz he'll collect it. as long as he knows you and you participate, you'll do well; i got a 65 on the final but an 85 in the class anyway
the worst thing about him is that he never tries to remember people's name. that's so annoying! no matter how much you participate,he doesnt give you high grade
Great teacher. Helped me catch up in Spanish when I was falling behind. You will learn a lot. BUT...do your hmwrk and keep it all, youve been warned!
Easiest teacher ever, doesn't teach, all you need to do to pass is to participate in class so he knows you.
He's completely senile, and plays WAY too many mind games, but apart from that he's ok...ALWAYS do your HW for his class ans never forget your textbook
Garcia doesn't teach at all, but just talks fast and does nothing. He likes to play mind games about quizzes
he gets annoyed when you don't understand what hes saying even tho he talks super fast! beware of the little "games" he plays..
