This guy should never have been a teacher. I am glad he has retired. Gone forever and good riddance. Why did the school keep him on all these years? A good example of what is wrong with the education system.
probably the most useless guy you'll ever meet and he has the longest neck in the world and he likes to sniff your experiments to determine if you get A
I can't wait to get picked up from his daycare. Kidding. His class IS daycare. Do whatever you want in it you won't learn anyways. Yes it's true people jumped around
Mr. Monsees was a really horrible teacher. I didn't learn anything. It sucks because if you want to take AP Bio now, you're screwed. Everyday was pretty much a "work day", where he'd just sit on his laptop while everyone "worked". People would be hanging from the ceiling and he wouldn't care. He was the worst teacher I've ever had. Transfer out if you can, even if the other classes are much harder, at least you'd learn something.
Monsees isn't that bad. He has gotten better over the years, according to my siblings. He DOES teach, just not as much as some teachers. Too many students are mean to him.
Basically if you get this teacher you will have to teach your self biology. He gets paid for nothing. He makes the class teach for him. He treats you like you have a mental disability. Easy A. I learned nothing.
Mr Monsees is easily the WORST teacher at Leland. He has no idea how to teach. All we do in his class is watch a whole bunch of pointless videos and take notes on them. He assigns a ton of work to do over a week. His tests are worth 10 points. All hw assignments are worth 10 or more points. So you just need to do the hw and you will get an A. He makes the students teach the class and then grades them on their ability to teach. If you get him for BioHon and you plan to take APBio, you WILL fail.
Basically, he is a worst biology teacher in Leland... He can't teach nor does he help you on your further studies of biology. You take his class and then take AP Bio, most likely, you will fail the cl
He was not clear with lesson plan, had no organized way of teaching, just throws a bunch of worksheets in your face and makes you take notes on movies barley related to the topic at foot.
he doesn't teach you the material. you have to do it on your own, but easy grader
Lol, after having Woo for two years in a row (chem hon and chem AP), this class sucks. He takes off points for no reason, but he's really easy overall. Teachers who don't teach need to be more chill.
He doesnt teach anything and expects us to know it all..
DOesnt teach anything. Just worksheets that dont relate to the book
its easy to get an A in the class but it doesnt mean you know the material. his final is weighted wayy too much. i had a 98 in the class and got a 75 on the final and it dropped my grade to an 81
One of those teachers who cheats the system. Rarely teaches and when he does its a shallow concept of the material. He mostly relies on other people to teach--such as the students. Don't take him.
Average for last test was a D. Makes his students teach the class. His semester review is really stupid because we don't know half the things on the sheet since he NEVER TEACHES US!
He just gave us some notes and we had to TURN THEM IN on the day we took them and have homework on that SAME day on the material. How are we supposed to do our homework???
He doesn't teach well at all. The only good thing about his class is that you can talk with your friends or secretly listen to you ipod.
He doesn't teach. Therefore, he shouldn't be a teacher. I'm sure I'd do a better job of teaching the class, which I'll be doing, along with every other student in his honors course. We've each been given a chapter to teach the rest of the class, meaning he gets to sit back and get paid for doing absolutely nothing.
He is a wayer polo coach, not a teacher. The class is ALL busy work. it is easy if you do all your work, but if he doesnt like you, that watch out. He curves all his tests because everybody would fail them (since he doesn't teach anything.)
he's alright. he's pretty funny at times. he could polish up on his teaching skills though...
This is the most easy class ever. You get extra credit for just coloring pictures. It is basically all busy work and you learn nothing. Don't worry about the tests, you can still get like a 5 out of 20 and you get an A and like a 6 out of 20 is extra credit hahaha. He doesn't teach ever, and he just gives you a list of work and you just do it. You can do anything you want in class (eat, take pictures, talk on your phone, do homework, etc.) He doesn't teach ever though.
fun class, you dont learn a whole lot but hes pretty cool guy. pretty reasonable tests if you know the material, just draw pictures and color them for extra credit on everything.
ummm...horrible teacher...easy A....time for hw...bad grade in BIO AP
very easy, you dont learn a ton. but it is incredibly easy and like an endless amount of extra credit. color diagrams and you get extra credit.
He looks like a good teacher if he actually teached but he does not teach at all we sit there and do what is told in the board. If he made printed out notes it will help alot. hard quizzes.
the class was fun. you don't learn anything in there, but all you have to do is do the work and you have an A
Best teacher EVER, well...at least if he's teaching water polo. (I bet he's a good Science teacher to) But cant match his polo skills
Try teaching for a change and not just handing out work so u can sit down.
he's dry, doesn't do much teaching, but expects us to do like 8 assignments in 5 days. i also always feel unprepared for the tests. stick to waterpolo, monsees.
monsees is the easiest teacher EVER!! u color ur graphs and things u get extra credit and if u have a 100% or more in the class u dont take final SWEETTTTT!!!
this year, i've learned that you get a sore throat because the cells are exploding.
how am i supposed to learn when u just read out of the book heck i could do that duh
best water polo coach ever! w00t w00t. class wasnt bad
I never had him as a teacher but he is the best waterpolo choach that i have ever had.
Very boring and monotonous. He didn't even give us a book to study from! His tests were very hard and I always felt unprepared for them.
Com'on Mr. Monsees! Be stricter and insert REAL knowledge into our brain! But the growing project is cool.
