Mr. Rodriguez was a very cool teacher. He had his perks, like any teacher would have, but he taught geometry in a very unique way. He printed lesson plans on a daily basis and that definitely made note-taking a lot easier. Again, really funny teacher. He always said "but not in a bad way" or "SSS pos-CHU-LATE" to help us remember info.
Best teacher ever! I am currently in his class and, even though the year isn't over yet, I already know that I will miss him! I was late 2 times, but he was still very sweet to me and even gave me a 100 for participation. That shows that he is fair, as long as he knows that you make an effort to come on time and be engaged in the class. I think as long as you participate, do your work, and study, you can excel in his class & the regents.
Very good at teaching and tries hard to make sure his students understand the material. However, he collects homework randomly and is a little quirky in my opinion. His quirks can often be interrupted as rude or intimidating but I think he means well. For example, when you answer a question (wrong or right) he will sometimes just stare at you for a little while before he tells you if you are correct (or incorrect). Overall, I learned a lot and passed his class with 90+
Nice guy, decent teacher. I Have him as a freshman taking geometry. Gives you lesson plans which are really helpful, he speeds through them QUCIKLY. If you doze off, infact even if you pay attention, you will not understand the math.
I had him for geometry and he was an okay teacher. To me, he was just another one of those pass by teachers: nothing personal or enriching. The material is not hard and it doesn't take a whole lot to succeed in his class. He hands out A LOT of worksheets so you don't need a notebook. He makes stupid jokes in class.
Very tough. DO ALL OF HIS WORK! Very mean. Only wants 100s.... rude to students who don't have 100s on tests Moves VERY fast Randomly collects hw NEVER AVAILABLE FOR TUTORING
I was in his geometry class. Overall Averages: 97 1) Do your homework (or be slapped in the face with a out-of-the-blue hw collecting) 2) He teaches one lesson a day. He rushes through them. So expect some self studying. 3) Do his review sheets for tests. Understand the concept and that'll be an easy pass. 4) He can be intimidating, therefore avoid eye contact at all cost. P.S. Not all the answers on his tests are rational #s. P.P.S You don't need to take a single note. He prints all lessons.
Overall: an okay teacher. He actually knew what he was teaching, and I think he has fun teaching. What i really hate about him is that he gives out way too many papers, and by the end of one month youll have a pile that takes up half the space in your bag. He collects homework randomly, which really pissed a lot of people off, cuz it made people slack off. As for help, i asked tons of questions during his class, and he always looked at me like i was stupid, and that always made me feel bad
Bad. Pretty lazy.[Doesn't collect homework everyday. Instead, collects it out of the blue.] Teaching skills are poor. Jokes are not funny.
I had Mr. Rodriguez for Geometry last year in my freshman year and he was an ok teacher. You will never take notes in his class, so you don't need a notebook; you just need a binder. He'll hand you a ton of review sheets that have what you need to learn on the page but I had a lot of trouble with Geometry because he would always rush through the lessons and didn't really explain much. I suggest you either start paying attention from day 1 or go to tutoring after school if you need help.
I'm in one of his AP Calculus class. I will just say.. I probably got a 2 on the APs and it's my second year taking calculus as math. You're better off learning from the AP books. :|
this dude can't teach. idk what else to say. is this how a computer science class is supposed to go on? ugh. i regret choosing CompSci...
I learned more from his packets than listening to him talking in his class. The contents in the packets are useful and unless you really do not understand how to do math, you don't really have to see how he does things.
Can't teach for his life only thing he can do is sit at his desk and randomly snicker every once in a while. He can't speak correctly he slurs his S's and says peoples name incorrectly its not cool when he does that but he thinks it is. It just plain annoying
Mr. Rodriguez isssss a good teacher, funny, and very cleaaar. He likesssss to stretch the letter "s", which is kind of funny too. However, at timesssss he may lose patience.
cool dude a little cranky at time but overall good always there with answers for computer question
Mr. Rodriguez comes off to be tough but is a really nice guy and is willing to help. he wants you to figure things out on your own with some guidance from him, and that's how teachers should be.
easy tests. The review sheets has the same questions on the test.
if one person gets him mad, the whole class gets blame for it. He does give high grades though.
Oh man. This class was filled with handouts, and... well, handouts.
Mr. Rodriguez is the best person to work with and to learn from. The fundamental challenges that he brings to a classroom are phenomenal. Teachers like him are "One in a Million."
I had him for Honors Pre-Calculus. All I have to say is that he is the best! He taught us some Calculus shortcuts in Pre-cal(started teaching us actual calculus) that made Calculus a breeze. His shortcuts were amzing. I got an A in Caluclus in college without ever stepping in class. Gotta love this teacher. Him and Mr Evangelist have taught me the greateset academic foundations. Love them both.
Like his network class already and this is the only first day.
class is ok, mostly gives us lesson plans to do wile he sits and does nothing. good thing is he gives out the test questions and answers before a test so its real easy to do good.
great at A+. his review is the best because it let me catch all the info i miss and do good on the test. why couldn't connell, carabano, and mung be more like him. this guy also could dance and i hope he would teach the class one of those moves
Coolest teacher i ever had in Tech! He is da man! Although class is not easy he makes it all make sense. Join salsa club! Its fun...
Knows no Java. Can only copy from notes and answers -everything- with "let me look that up." Bad programmer, bad teacher. And worse, a mean and very bad person.
Hes a really good cisco teacher compared to others in Tech. He knows what hes talking about but can sometimes snap because of his comps. Also tests are hard!!
Hes a good teacher, just dont talk bout his cpu's. n watch out for his tests.
Wrote me a great recommendation. Got me into BC Calc. Awesome guy.
