His tests are impossible. Definitely has favorite students. Ignores the ones he does not like. Do not take his class.
The greatest of all time!
how come his favorites got scaled higher than the rest of us? again. and again. hang around him at lunch or after classes he likes them the best and is condescending to the rest of us.
He picks favorites, and his favorites are obvious. If you had Euro with him/are a theater kid, he loves you for some unexplained reason. I had him for Honors Modern American. I'm pretty sure he didn't even know what my name was the whole year because whenever he called on me he would just look at me (rude&weird). He is conceited. He will give you a lower grade than you deserve. He knows his stuff but he needs to realize just because he is a "hard teacher" doesn't mean he is a "good teacher"...
One of the best teachers ever. Period. End of Story. Like a modern day Yoda.
He is very arrogant and thinks that he is better than the rest of the class because he knows more than all of us. I'm not a fan at all, thus this is going to be a very long year. Also all he does is write on the board, and his handwriting is illegible.
Worst teacher ever!!- will purposely give you a lower grade than you deserve just to show his dominance. Please avoid his class !!
i have enjoyed my honors class with him. he is a really great guy who lets us have fun. i have learned so much and he is very enthusiastic when he teaches. he is one of my favorite teachers
Being a hard teacher doesn't mean you're necessarily a good teacher. I heard his class was hard and thought it would be good - no, it's just a mind-boggling amount of note taking and rapid memorization. Of course the only purpose is to prepare us for the AP exams, not to really teach anything, but it's still disappointing. Your whole grade depends on interpreting deliberately ambiguous multiple choice questions. That isn't a way to prove what you've learned.
Hearing he had such a hard class, I thought it would be a good class and I would learn a lot. Not the case. This is rapid memorizing, not learning. He also seems to think every student in his class takes no other classes besides his. His ego is pretty amazing.
This guy has issues- issues I tell you- I don't understand what is going on with him. He is like one of those cranky college professors who is picky and biast about every little thing. I have him for AP US history this year- and he is SO BIAST. He makes hard tests and covers material which the AP exam does not even cover! This guy does NOT like to give out As. ONLY TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE FINE WITH A LOW C.......or even worse. The other teachers in the school are much more lenient. HE'S BAD
Mr. Wurster is the man, he makes sure that the class completely understands the topic, and he himself is very enthusiastic and seems to love teaching history thus creating a trickle down effect onto the students, other than the fact that we take a lot of notes , but we get to use them on the quizes, and his test are fair game, wish every teacher would teach like him.
The only reason that he isn't easy is because he teaches AP Euro the hardest class ever. He is very funny and is nice to all the students. He has favorites, but treats eveyone equally. He is going to
Mr. Wurster is a phenomenal history teacher, he knows what he is doing. And will help you whenever you need it. I only wish I could have 3 years with him instead of two, but alas! Anyway, I enjoy the
Hard, Hard class for ap, but if you let him help you, and take the time to do the work, you will be able to do well.
passionate teacher (esp. if you take euro), but tends to play favorites.
Really hard class, but I learned soooo much. He's great, never a dull moment in that class...he's a good teacher and makes it fun!
Best teacher ever hands down. (don't mess with him if you whant to live though.)
hard class w/ a good teacher...he deff. has favorites tho
He is tough but fair. If you do your work and aren't disrespectful, you'll be fine. Those who are complaining probably did something to make him mad.
I learned a ton from his class, but I think his personal relationships with students & his tendancy to favor gets in the way of the fact that hes a good teacher
