Mrs. Hackworth is a wonderful teacher. Her lectures were clear and concise. She had remained in contact with me despite my graduating two years ago. She continues to help me with material from my organic chemistry course. There is no question that chemistry is a notoriously difficult subject and it is easy to blame it on the teacher. Look past the negative reviews and you won't regret it. If it wasn't for Mrs. Hackworth, I wouldn't be a premed student right now.
Ms. Hackworth is a wonderful teacher. She makes a real effort to helps students who care about learning the material. Her chemistry class is hard, but she is very helpful. Her class is interesting and fun.
Ms. Hackworth sometimes seems to like talking about her children more than the class material. She gives very little instruction on labs and is often outside the classroom during these labs.
She is not clear about the work that she assigns, and if she doesn't like you, well, good luck.
Not very helpfull and not clear at all. Gives almost no help with labs and has a bad sense of humor.
There is little or no explanation on labs. Her lectures rarely make sense.
I had Hackworth for honors integrated, and I know from my experience that she teaches this class a lot harder than regular classes. She's an awesome person, and if you seek individual help she is very helpful. Obviously very smart. I'd surf with her!
hard material. teaches as though in college. always open for help outside class; better than trying to get her during class time. can be unclear, but nice perso
I personally like Ms. Hackworth- i know that most people don't, but i think she is a really good teacher- it really depends on the class you have with her!
