Mr. Auzenne definitely knows what he is talking about and is passionate about the topics he teaches, but his tests are nearly impossible even studying the textbook and notes religiously. Even after the hard tests, you will have to check every single one of your grades are entered right with your counselor. If you value learning over grades, definitely take his class. If you value your grades and your resume for getting into college, steer clear (bad to say but a sad reality of today's world).
Mr. Auzenne is a great guy. However, he is beyond disorganized and extremely incompetent. Grades are constantly put in wrong. In addition to that, his grading of essays has no rhyme or reason to it. His quiz and exam questions are akin to solving the Gordian knot, and that is just to understand what the question is trying to ask. I'm sure at one point he was a great teacher, but time has taken its toll on him. In truth his teaching is a worse reflection on the administration than on him.
Mr Auzenne is incredibly disorganized, but if you are a good student, you start to worry less about whether he knows your name or where your test is and more about how much this guy knows about what you are really learning. Due dates do not exist.
I don't think the rating of Murvin Auzenne adequately describes his teaching abilities. He may be scatterbrained and a bit disorganized but he was one of if not the best teacher I had at Strake. He re
Mr. Auzenne is a great teacher that possesses trememendous knowledge and passion for his subject material, unlike most teachers ive come across in my 12 years of academia. AP government was an extreme
Mr. Auzenne knows exactly what he is talking about, and organizes everything well.He even has the humility to admit when he makes mistakes on tests or doesn't know an aspect of government.Great Teacher
An absolute Genius! Less intelligent people may have a hard time keeping up with him. GREAT TEACHER!
At first it might take a while to understand him because he talks really fast, but when you do, you will realize that he truly knows what he is talking about and that he is a great guy.
Mr. Auzenne is a great teacher. His class is really difficult and he seems to be fairly disorganized but he thouroughly knows the material and is a reasonable guy.
Nice guy. Tests are extremely difficult. Due dates don't seem to exist, since you can pretty much turn in anything whenever you want.
excellent teacher. Very nice and patient, and generous. kinda quirky, but the class is great because he clearly loves what he is teaching,
After adapting to him a bit and his quirky teaching style, you can learn a ton from him. I've learned a ton in my two years in Government and Euro History. My favorite teacher.
Most ridiculous class I've taken at Strake. He makes us draw posters to put on the walls... and then grades them harshly... He's really incompetant.
Bad teacher. Cannot make a test worth anything, then blames us for not fixing his mistakes. Loses things and doesn't catch obvious cheating.
He seemed pretty tough while I was there, but after going to college, ol' Murv seems pretty much par for a college prof.
Ya hafta be fast in his class. So much information b/c he's so well read. Two words for the dude: AWE-SOME
Way too hard and spoke too fast. I got nothing from his class.
Probably one of the most eccentric, but also one of the smartest teachers in the school.
Talks waaay to fast, grades really hard... but then again, he is an AP teacher
as smart as this guy is he has no way of being able to relate to the real world lost 4 grades of mine this semester alone mostly doesn't know what class hes in.
His class can be easy if you keep up with it, i dont. The class is kinda helpful. Most importantly i would give him a negative rating on clarity...
