Had her this year 2015-2016. I made sure to do all the work she gave, worksheets, home works, labs, review book questions so class and lab were OK.just took the regents it was soo easy.
She knows what she talks about.. however has excessive notes and obviously shows favoritism. "SIGN THE LATE BOOK"
I'm not so sure she likes me, but she's very funny! However, she likes to express how successful she is. Pretty egotistical. She'll pick on you if you are not participating. It's annoying. On a scale from one to ten, I give her a 6.
My Experience with Mrs. Brown has been dreadful. I used to have a 97+ Average for my science classes, when I entered her class, by grades plummeted. She is egocentric and is very biased. She hates me for reasons I don't know.
Once she ran out of stools in lab, I told her that we needed stools, she stated yelling at me and gave me a 0 for participation/behavior for that day.
I urge you, get out of her class, I don't want anyone to have the same experience as me.
Great and funny teacher. When you get to know her she's an amazing teacher to know! I passed the regents with her class and her test may be hard but are helpful in the end! If she's not nice to you at first, don't worry! Get on her good side and you'll be fine. Make sure you do your work, homework, and participate A LOT! She's taught me a lot. (Btw I'm still attending Francis Lewis)
she failed me twice and hated me and she didn't realize until the end that i actually cared and tried hard, thats all she really wants. she ended up working with me and helping get back on track. her class was really hard however the regents was a piece of cake. she's very strict and if you're not prepared to do 100 + then transfer.
Mrs. Brown is very strict and she does tend to yell a lot. But, she does know what she's doing and you will learn and her students in her class mostly have the highest regents grade. So, there are no worries in failing the regents if you have her.
She failed me and I went to earth science. Please do her homework, worksheets and labs on time or she will hate you and probably fail you. Otherwise you will pass the regents with higher then a 90%.
She is very strict. If she calls on you randomly in class and you can't answer the question, she will get mad. Always do her homework cause she will go over it the next day. Her tests are pretty hard but if you study you should be fine. Even though she may be mean, it's all for the student's sake. If you do well, she will compliment you. She might have favorites but she treats everyone equally. If you take her class, you WILL pass the regents.
Non stop yelling, the slightest whisper and she will stop the lesson completely and just sit there watching us do nothing while we are completely clueless.
Mrs. Brown is strict but she is a great teacher. I had her last year (2012-2013). She seems mean, but she is actually pretty nice. I never had to study for her testes, just had to pay attention in class. I got an 94 on the regent thanks to her.
Though she's strict
She taught amazingly and it's because of her I received a high score on my regents for L.E. but no amount of her yelling over trivial matters and her talking about her personal life is worth being in her class. Her lab classes were almost a living nightmare at times. She would terrorize the class into silence which helped me think more clearly when she was teaching us but that's not how teachers should control the class!
A teacher who actually knows her stuff. she explains everything in great detail and gives good grades to people who do the work, regardless of test grades. Shes a nightmare if you get on her bad side though.
great teacher. just have to do your work and she'll give u what you deserve
oddd worksheets and odd hard tests but listen to her and call her MRS.BROWN not MS.BROWN SHE WILL KICK U OUT
omg! I really like Mrs. Brown. She makes worksheets and goes over them and the labs. If you do what she asks you get a good grade and learn.
Really good teacher but I feel bad for if u have her for lab.
She can be evil through and through, but she's a great teacher and is will be kind to you, as long as you don't give her any lip. Hated her for lab half the time, but she knows her stuff.
ill admit she can definately make info. stay in your head
Mrs. Brown is a really great teacher! She's good at explaining things and she's actually someone who makes you work.
i think mrs brown is amazing teacher just do her work its one of the easiet teachers youll have
mrs. brown is a nice teacher jut listen pay attention try your best ans your fine....
a good teacher. listen to what she says and you'll do alright.
just listen and do the work Mrs. Brown tells you to do & you can do alright
pretty good teacher. most of your grade is based on tests/participation and a lil hw and labs. that's basically it. pay attention and you'll do fine.
was completely blunt with her about her and her class. after that got along with very well. but shes a pretty strict teacher. just pay attention
Ms.Brown is a good teacher. She's only mean and nasty when she feels no one is paying attention or disrespecting her. If you pay attention and try she'll be cool, and try to help you out
Thouhg shes very STRICT and yells...you get to realize she only does it so we could be disciplined and SCORE the HIGHEST grade on the regents.
when all is said and done almost everyone who took the regents pass
What's wrong with you guys? A really good teacher that knows her stuff.
What is her problem? She likes to talk smack about other teachers meanwhile she's always on the verge of a mental breakdown! She's got serious emotional issues!
she is my favorite teacher, i learned so much, and her class is so fun. i rather sit in her class then go to lunch, really.
she's an ok teacher,but when u don't do anything right she'll scream
she was pretty nice (to me anyway).. but as for labs... she was very exact about what she wanted, and if you had one thing wrong she returned it!
She scared me so much on the first day of class that I wanted to get out,but I'm glad I stayed. She's the best E.S. teacher.
Mean but sweet! I enjoy having her as a lab teacher unfortunately I don't have her as a earth science teacher
